madras
Likes, dislikes, faves, pics etc Personally i like the old fashioned style when even different parts of the ground seem to come from different eras and a squarish design to the ground as opposed to the modern rounded stadia. i loved the likes of gay meadow and the manor ground but looking at http://www.worldstadiums.com/stadium_menu/past_future/future_stadiums.shtml all the new stadia seem much of a muchness with only the sizes and the outer decor differentiate between them. Guest toonlass
I like Obviously our ground Old Trafford Anfield Ibrox Villa Park Ewood (cos we usually have the whole of the end and make more noise than the Blackburn lot) I hate Riverside Stadium of Light Madejski Pride Park Hampden
cp40
My first visit to SJP, was the opening of the east stand. Had the roof at the old leazes end, the open gallowgate terrace, and the arch topped west stand. Love looking at pics of the ground when it was like that. http://images.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=http://www.nufc.com/images/sjp70s-2.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.nufc.com/html/ground4.html&usg=__uI1LovoqqkQugoQlObodVn5bgtY=&h=478&w=678&sz=88&hl=en&start=2&um=1&tbnid=pFRlRL0oW6QmnM:&tbnh=98&tbnw=139&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dnewcastle%2Bwest%2Bstand%26hl%3Den%26cr%3DcountryUK%257CcountryGB%26rlz%3D1T4GGLR_en__267__267%26sa%3DN%26um%3D1

Guest
My best stadium visited in terms of atmosphere. Stade Geoffroy Guichard, St-Etienne. http://c2.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/49/l_858f0cf7536273b70b91bf74375643a1.jpg http://c1.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/30/l_f81ab8444e708719e5a9182872c2b0c4.jpg
Pilko
We need a "guess the ground" thread imo, where someone posts an obscure photo of a ground and people have to guess what it is.

madras
i have to say aswell that the loudest noise i've heard in a football stadium was in milan when inter equalised, not really covered in and about 58,000 in the place.

That isn't a "guess" one man, I made a seperate thread for that. Gods own country though is Hillheads Park.
midds
Always liked Sampdoria's ground. I think it's the way they built tower things in each corner. That one in Portugal with a quarry behind a goal looks nice too. Braga?

Braga? aye its braga. i think the faroe isles national stadium has a similar thing going on. samp and genoa still share i think and the towers do look good. i remember the world cup there with people hanging out of them looked great. http://www.worldstadiums.com/stadium_pictures/europe/italy/liguria/genova_ferraris2.jpg thats the type of thing i'm getting at. they look good from the inside instead of the modern round bowl. leffe186
I like Craven Cottage a lot. Lovely little place. Nice walk to it too, but the coldest I've ever been at a match was there.
Mowen
I like Craven Cottage a lot. Lovely little place. Nice walk to it too, but the coldest I've ever been at a match was there. Cracking day out. Some decent pubs around, lovely setting and old fashioned without being a dump. Ewood Park is a dive but had some great days out there
Pilko
I like Craven Cottage a lot. Lovely little place. Shame the fans are fucking shite. I agree though, the location and general ambience of the ground are excellent.

TêteDeMaure
VELODROME. Unique much better than St Etienne and their loony boys. http://www.kooora.com/images/France/Teams/Marseille/velodrome_nuit.jpg
Neil
Like: Goodison (although I'm not surprised if others think it's total shite) SJP Camp Nou (desperately want to visit there) Estadio de Luz (Benfica's? The one with the huge mountain thing on one side). San Siro And probably many others I can't remember at the moment. Tbh I'd love to go on a European tour and take in games from various stadiums. Dislike: Riverside 96.6 TFM George Reynolds Super Duper Bowl Anarchy Arena (bring football home! (well, to Feethams)). Fratton Park Ewood Park. And probably many others I can't remember at the moment.
Mowen
Go to Craven Cottage if you get the chance. I'd recommend it to anyone, very different from what you might expect in the prem.
