The other games today - 2009/10

Have City got any songs of their own?

Nearly everything in this game has been an Everton song with the words changed. Dickheads.

Everton probably nicked them all of city

No.

Which ones have they stolen then?

Nearly all football chants are used by other clubs with different words.

The commentators blatantly hate Robinho.

'Stopped on the line! Stopped on the line again! And now Robinho cannot finish.'

"First goal in English domestic football for almost a decade."

erm, 2004 being his last one. So 5 and a bit years now qualifies as a decade?

Get your ears cleaned out mate. He said '2000, for Arsenal'

oops.

Never felt more like singing the blues (Everton & Liverpool changed for City & United)

The babys not yours (from Gerrard to Rooney)

Fuck off to Norway, the citys all ours (Norway changed to somewhere else)

I know loads have the same tune as the last two but not the same words. I just find it weird that they've suddenly co-opted 3 songs from the same set of fans.

The little girl says she's going to beat this disease. You tell her she's wrong, you tell her.

It was cringeworthy.  So many commentators don't seem to have the self-awareness to go "here, I sound like a bit of a cock here actually".

It's still a really pointless statistic - he was in Spain from 2001 to 2009, in which time he was pretty unlikely to score a goal in England.
