Ribery outstanding all game. Man U looked over-confident after going ahead so early.

I can't see Rooney being back within a week after limping off like that. It looks like a sprain and they usually take longer. Perhaps good news for England because he'll now get a bit of a rest.

Putting on my Newcastle hat: "Fucking yaaas Rooney's out the mancs are going to crash and burn now!"

Putting on my England hat: "oh god oh god oh god oh god oh god oh god oh god oh god oh god"

I don't have many hats, but if I put any of them on I get really excited at the idea of a Rooney injury.

Watford 3-0 down at home to Palace. Plenty of people leaving in the background as SSN talk to the reporter.

"f*** you Newcastle-Online, and f*** you Pilkoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!"

"Golden Glory, ladies and gentlemen."

Unlike Newcastle fans, I can take losing gracefully.

I suppose you get used to it when you support a nothing club.

It's going to be difficult, I don't plan on supporting any other team.

This argument is cringeworthy- it's like watching Dale Winton trying to savage Alan Titchmarsh. :(

Take the final letter from Watford, and we're left with a true description of said club.

I look forward to it tbh. I don't have to endure having a season ticket, yet can turn up now and again and see some wins with some home-grown players.

After their poor start I was very impressed with Bayern tonight, probably because I didn't expect much from them. They weren't spectacular but they were persistent and although Man Utd weren't at their best, few can say they didn't deserve to take a lead into the 2nd leg.

Can someone who watches them more tell me: what's the deal with Klose? Was he carrying a knock, hence not starting? That said, Olic looked good, if more in a Dirk Kuyt sort of way than anything else.

Good win for Lyon as well. Can't see Bordeaux overturning that.

Klose was shit recently and all season. Has only scored 2 goals in the Bundesliga iirc.

Ah right. I still live in a world of "HE ALWAYS SCORES AT THE WORLD CUP YOU KNOW!?"
