Good God. The man is deluded and a complete and utter a-hole. Watched a couple of minutes and couldn't stand the man, his voice or the crap he was spouting.

Same. Tin hat on. But I’m not actually much of a fan of Shearer off the pitch. But the astonishing lack of self-awareness from Barton. Calling Shearer a snake, a dog, a liar and whatever else.

Barton’s highlight reel is more like a rap sheet of a career criminal. The man is absolutely insane. I see he was offering Roy Keane out the other day

Saw that the other day and didn’t want to post it for that reason. I’ve defended him over the years as I believe in redemption and second chances etc. I can’t help but feel there’s very little rereading of Joey.

Nothing is ever his fault, he talks about that Alonso tackle as if it’s because Shearer made him play through an injury. You can blame a bad performance on an injury, but surely if you were injured that would cause you to be more conservative with your tackles rather than completely reckless like that one on Alonso.

The former footballer, of Widnes in Cheshire, was due to face trial at a magistrates’ court in 2022 but the case was adjourned after Mrs Barton sent a letter to prosecutors retracting her allegations. A judge then ordered that proceedings be paused over concerns a trial would be unfair to Barton after prosecutors said they did not plan to ask Mrs Barton to give evidence in court.

The director of public prosecutions (DPP), Stephen Parkinson, appealed against the decision at the high court in London, with barristers claiming at a hearing that a fair trial could go ahead. In a judgment in June, two senior judges ruled in the DPP’s favour and said Barton should face a trial over the allegations in front of a different judge.

Genuinely didn't think he'd go this far off the map like. Thankfully he's on MSM's naughty list, so you've got to go out of your way to hear him speak.

How he's not already in jail is a strange one.
