If anyone fancies taking in a match tomorrow, we're at home to Grimsby Town. 3pm, Gateshead Stadium.

Grimsby's joint manager Rob Scott lost it with the fans after their 2-1 home defeat to Darlington yesturday, so should be interesting.

If anyone's at a loose end Tuesday night and fancies some football, Gateshead are playing York in a top(ish) of the table clash at the International Stadium (7:45pm).

They play an expansive/attacking style of football similar to ours, so it'll be an interesting game and a test of how just far we've come. They usually bring about 500 fans up for the match too, so should be a good atmosphere.

If you're at a loose end on Tuesday night, then a decent game is in prospect at the International Stadium in the Conference, where in-form Gateshead take on a York City side who are themselves enjoying a decent season.

Ian Bogie's lads have won seven and drawn two of their eleven league games this season and sit joint top of the table, behind Wrexham on goal difference.

They include on-loan Magpies goalkeeper Jak Alnwick (expected to be on the bench as cover), plus SJP old boy Kris Gate, who has three goals to his name so far.

The Minstermen are just three points behind in fifth and are captained by former Newcastle reserve midfielder Paddy McLaughlin.

Admission is £14 adults, £9 concessions and U16s £2 and kickoff is at 7.45pm.

For non-league football? :kasper:

Pretty standard fare, they're a professional club after all.

I take it the other fans are cheering sarcasticly and not in favour of the manager...

Really impressed with Shaw. In the brief viewings I had last season he just didn't look clinical at all.

Tbf he's always scored goals at that level. He just was never really fit last season.

No way will we be able to maintain this form throughout the season.  I'm fully expecting Fleetwood or someone to come in with a ridiculous offer for Shaw in January.

Luton offered to treble his wages. ;)
