Guest firetotheworks
My look on it Harper - 6 Kitchenvillage - 7 S.Taylor - 7 Colocinni - 6 Enrique - 6.5 Smith - 7.5 Butt - 5 R.Taylor - 8 Nolan - 9 Carrol - 7.5 Ranger - 8 C'mon Butt wasn't that bad. Compared to his usual performances he was OK tonight. I dont count 5 as that bad. I know he wasn't awful, but he wasn't good by any stretch of the imagination. Some good, some bad. Imagine if he'd played like that and we'd lost.

Yorkie
Harper - 6. Nothing to do whatsoever. Khizanishvili - 7. He was alright, nothing spectacular. Blatantly not a full-back, but from a defensive point of view he looks comfortable and assured. Nearly conceded a really daft corner like, which was pretty sloppy. Taylor - 8. Bossed it as usual. The lads practically inpenetrable against some of the shite in this division. Coloccini - 7. Similarly to Taylor, bossed Ipswich with apparant ease. I'm fucking sick to death of him getting the wrong side of his man when it comes to long-balls though. Coloccini still makes the same fundamental errors that he did when he first came. It really grates. Enrique - 7. By his standards, he made a couple of hiccups - but the guy is streets ahead of this league. Good performance all in all. R Taylor - 7. Really good performance. Hassled and harried and buried a fucking marvellous free-kick that was absolutely intended. Smith - 7. Did what he does best. Cleaned shit up. Butt - 6. Horrific on the ball but covered well, much like Smith. Nolan - 9. Fantastic performance. Passed it around neatly, fed the strikers, hassled Ipswich, pressured the opposition. And three goals. Quality performance. Carroll - 6. Off the pace today, but chased things down well. Ranger - 7. Held the ball up well and provided an assist, another really promising performance. Dave
We've got the joint-best defence in the country again, with Leeds and Bournemouth.
Big Geordie
I'm gonna stick my neck on the line, because I reckon the last time a midfielder got a hatrick for us, was Rob Lee in Antwerp back in 94.

Richo
I'm happy with the way we played. Because so many times in the past when we've play poor teams, or at least teams in poor form, we seem to drop down to their level. But today we just blew them away easily. I only hope the injuries aren't too serious.
Cheshire Mag
If Hughton has the balls to stick with 4-4-2 we will hammer most sides in the league, IMO.
Keefaz
Think Nolan's played well in patches this season but seems to be getting more consistent (plus his fitness is improving). Was smashing today. Harper's one 'save' was hilarious. Also, the Ipswich fans' chant about us sacking SBR was a bit shite.

Wullie
Highly impressive performance. Hopefully Hughton has now realised that the best way to do things in this league is to go 2 up and batter teams like today.

The same Ipswich fans that booed him and wanted him out before he made them the force he did? To the point where the Chairman actually had to apologise on their behalf and was so embarassed by his fans, he nearly resigned. Aye they're certainly in a position to talk.
