Fenham Mag
3 pm , hope both Newcastle and Sunderland get host city status. Obviously, if it has to be one its got to be Newcastle. Will be bitterly disappointed if they choose them over us. Can't see any of the lesser footballing cities will get a look in such as Plymouth and Bristol. Of course all depends if England are successful in their bid to host the WC. The host city applicants also have the option of bidding to host the following World Cup Events: * Preliminary Draw * Confederations Cup Draw * Final Draw * Team Workshop * Referees Workshop * Medical Workshop * Broadcast Workshops * FIFA Congress * FIFA Banquet Host cities and stadia: London - Wembley Sunderland - SoL Birmingham - Villa Park Manchester - CoM Nottingham - New Nottingham Forest stadium London - Emirates Leeds - Elland Road Sheffield - Hillsbrough Newcastle/Gateshead - St.James' Park Bristol - New Ashtonville Stadium London - New White Hart Lane or Olympic Stadium Plymouth - Home Park Manchester - Old Trafford Liverpool - Anfield or New Anfield Milton Keynes - Stadium MK
