Guest
Of the Championship signings we made (Perch, Simpson, Routledge & Best), he definitely looks the best in the Premier League. I understand it's only two games, but he looks like he belongs at this level, unlike the others.

David28
I wouldn't write Routledge off yet tbh. He did look like a PL player against Man Utd. He looked great against Villa (well, everyone did). I think it's a lack of confidence with him. We should have brought him on yesterday (into a winning team) to show what he can do.

I agree, still think Routledge can make it in the Premier League. Although obviously if Barton and Nolan continue like this his chances will be limited for a while. If Barton plays anywhere near like what he did yesterday untill the end of the season it'll be 'the end' for Routledge.

themanupstairs
Looks like Perch was bought as an interim measure. Squad filler surely. Wasn't he skipper at Forest? If he's a level headed individual he will realize where he falls short and work on himself. If not can be easily peddled back to the championship. Sorry, thought you meant signings made in our championship season as opposed to from championship clubs - hence including Simpson.
Geordie Ahmed
Simpson played well yesterday BUT I still dont rate him - we need Steven Taylor back asap
mozy
Danny Simpson was brilliant yesterday, Steven Taylor has never played that well at right back, don't see how people are expecting him to either.

On paper, absolutely. Who knows though. Neville kept Bale quiet, and Edgar kept Ronaldo quiet. You just never know. As I say though, on paper, absolutely. sander68
We should move Enrique to RB. Bale wouldn't even get a sniff.

He was good against Man Utd, good against Villa, and good against Wolves. I do think it's a confidence thing, he's got the pace to take on his man, he could still be a good player for us
BONTEMPI
We should move Enrique to RB. Bale wouldn't even get a sniff. Saylor would be the better option. Anyway Bales getting injured soon, I saw it in my tea leaves.
