Premiership trio track Forster.

Recommended Posts

Both Krul and Forster need to play regularly to continue their development.  Unlike other young players, they don't get the chance to come on for the last 15 minutes to gain experience unless there is an injury.  Look how rusty Harper was when he was called upon when Shay was injured and when he left.  It took a number of games for him to get his sharpness back.

Maybe Forster should be the number 2 next year whilst Krul gets a full year on loan.

I just hope the club don't mess it up and we end up losing both.

"Foreign commitments"

You make it sound as if he's from across the other side of the world.

I know some people need it spelled out before facts finally strike home, but are you actually aware that he is DUTCH? If Holland want him for a game in future years, Holland GET him - YES ?

What happens if NUFC have a crucial FA Cup match etc etc at the same time ?

It doesn't matter whether he's from Holland, Scotland, or Australia, his international commitments come first as far as FIFA are concerned - are you a little clearer, or do we have to write in on the blackboard ?

If a player is English the chances are that other teams will have the same calls on many of their players, esp with the moves now towards having a minimum of National players in Prem sides.

Guest michaelfoster

Krul stayed as no2 this season & Forster went on loan

SO

send Krul on loan & let Fraser be number 2 so they both get experience in CCC & as backup

International fixtures have their own specified dates which don't clash with club games. It's not like he's gonna go to the ACN to play for Holland.

Exactly. Holland play their matches the exact same time as England. It would also mean Krul is playing well for Newcastle if he's going off to play for Holland in these periods.

Was talking to my Norwich supporting friend the other day about him, said he had excellent communication, shot stopping and handling - likened him to Schmeichel  Whilst that might be a bit much, it's good to hear he's getting rave reviews.
