Pilko
9th May against Wroxham FC (no typo). Good game that, Bay went 0-1 down after about 15 seconds and ended up winning the game in stoppage time. Fantastic crowd too of 2750.
TheGuv
Great game today, the weather was appalling. My first pitch invasion. Not what its cracked up to be
GeordieDazzler
Cracking match that, really enjoyed it. Think Barwell may have won if they hadn't had that lad sent off - mind you he deserved to go. Bays second was a corker.
pedro111
Whats that now?, three trips to Wembley in eight years? Edit!! - Actually, the 2002 final was at Villa Park wasnt it?

Tooj
Class match yesterday like. Thought the sending off changed the game completely, before it Whitley played some nice stuff but after that Barwell became a lot more organised which resulted in Whitley playing a lot of long ball stuff. Barwell were the better team in the second half as well. Ah well.

BlueStar
Anyone see the barwell fan celebrating their disallowed goal like mad even after the free kick for offside had been taken?

Pilko
The Barwell lot walked past us at halftime when they were swapping ends, and they were a right scummy bunch. The women looked like total, utter slags (and not good slags either).
BlueStar
Their little teeny boppers with painted faces were having a right slanging match with some young whitley lasses in the seahorse at half time as well

Keefaz
Was at the match no Saturday: been away with the bird so just got in. Good game, rank weather. The Bay very fortunate their lot went down to ten men as they were easily the better side in the second half. Bring on Wembalee!
Rich
Paul Chow was fucking shite. Thought Bay had a lot of tidy players though, especially impressed by the fullbacks, Robinson and the other striker.

Guest toonlass
6 - 1 well done the bay :celb: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_conf/8671241.stm FA Vase holders Whitley Bay scored six goals at Wembley to smash Wroxham and retain the trophy. Whitley grabbed the lead right from the start with Paul Chow scoring in the first minute. Wroxham's Paul Cook grabbed a quick equaliser but an own goal from Andy Eastaugh saw the Tyneside club retake a lead they never again lost. Goals from Lee Kerr, Adam Johnston, Paul Robinson and Josh Gillies helped Ian Chandler's side clinch the win.
