9th May against Wroxham FC (no typo).

Good game that, Bay went 0-1 down after about 15 seconds and ended up winning the game in stoppage time. Fantastic crowd too of 2750.

Class match yesterday like.

Thought the sending off changed the game completely, before it Whitley played some nice stuff but after that Barwell became a lot more organised which resulted in Whitley playing a lot of long ball stuff. Barwell were the better team in the second half as well.

Ah well. :D

The Barwell lot walked past us at halftime when they were swapping ends, and they were a right scummy bunch. The women looked like total, utter slags (and not good slags either).

Was at the match no Saturday: been away with the bird so just got in. Good game, rank weather. The Bay very fortunate their lot went down to ten men as they were easily the better side in the second half. Bring on Wembalee!

FA Vase holders Whitley Bay scored six goals at Wembley to smash Wroxham and retain the trophy.

Whitley grabbed the lead right from the start with Paul Chow scoring in the first minute.

Wroxham's Paul Cook grabbed a quick equaliser but an own goal from Andy Eastaugh saw the Tyneside club retake a lead they never again lost.

Goals from Lee Kerr, Adam Johnston, Paul Robinson and Josh Gillies helped Ian Chandler's side clinch the win.
