My score prediction of 1-1 was only one out!

Today was utter s****, and a consulation from Ji String and a late rally won't paper over cracks as far as I'm concerned.

Once again, Bruce has presided over a complete squad overhaul and we look no better. If Bruce thinks Larsson and Gardner are better than Steed and Zenden then he wants his head examining. The team lacks organisation and it seems the only thing Bruce can motivate is himself to get another pie from the fridge. On the plus side, Brown had another canny game and Bendtner showed promise, although no f***er got near him all game.

As for Gyan going, well I don't know who to blame to be honest. However, if as Bruce said, Gyan's head was turned after the Ghana vs England game, he should have got rid of him as soon as the transfer window opened.

I think Bruce has two games to save his skin. Less than three points from Stoke and Norwich and he's a dead man walking.

Only positive of today was meeting Kevin Ball outside the stadium. Had the customary Bally handshake (hand has only just recovered) and commented he should have brought his boots as he'd have got a game. He said he's too old, but even in his forties he'd have been quicker than Larsson and Gardner, who looked like they were towing caravans all day.

Getting to the point where Bruce is teetering on the edge. No shame in losing to Chelsea but there's a malaise hanging over the club, it all seems very stale despite the influx of signings.

Can see him going this week tbh, one way or another.

Pretty much spot on. The hangover from last season has continued, despite the overhaul.

What is the common denominator?

They have threads for Quinn out, Black out, Bruce out, Everyone out, Quinn and Bruce ARE out and Quinn is gone

If you look up 'kneejerk' in the dictionary, RTG will be listed alongside.

A lot on there want Bruce out (understandable), but only clueless wankers want Quinny out.

Selling your best players and not replacing them properly, and really you can't lay even half the blame and Bruces feet for that IMO. He's an easy target, but in reality the board sanctioned the sales and loans of the players and even if he has persuaded them in their decisions for replacements they still signed it off, and still didn't land targets they should have in critical areas.

Bruce is gash, with you on that, but this current situation isn't all his fault, what about the clown who gave him a new contact when performing on the pitch badly?

Which Sunderland players reside in Newcastle?

At this point it's probably worth pointing out that Gateshead and Northumberland are not part of Newcastle.

Gateshead is part of Greater Newcastle, just like places like Whitley Bay and even Sunderland, debatably.

Quite possibly the biggest load of horseshite I've ever read, and there have been some contenders I can tell you.

Why? There's rarely any room for sentiment in football, and Bruce's appointment and contract extention were the doing of the drink driver. The club's spent loads and really gone nowhere under Quinn's guidance since your promotion.

its hard for a drink driver to steer a magic carpet when he always had one eye aimed at his neighbors

The Sunderland bit is, aye, but swap Greater Newcastle for Tyneside and he's correct about Gateshead and Whitley Bay.

Randy what do you think about Bruce's complete failure to sign some natrually left sided footballers?

Unbelievably ignorant and stupid.

We've been crying out for a natural left back and left winger for years. Once again, we brought in a stack of players but are going to fudge the left side completely.
