Rich
By the way, do we reckon Brewce is finished if they lose at home to WBA on Saturday? If so, am I the only one who'd take a Souness vs. Villa (lucky draw) scenario to see him kept in his job a while longer?
FrenchWilliam
Stay til January, panic buys, sacked first week of Feb.
Pilko
If so, am I the only one who'd take a Souness vs. Villa (lucky draw) scenario to see him kept in his job a while longer? Not at all, be pretty scary if Brunt (same starting letter and number of letters) skied a late penalty over the bar like a buffoon to allow the knackers a point though. If so, am I the only one who'd take a Souness vs. Villa (lucky draw) scenario to see him kept in his job a while longer? Apparently there is next to no chance of sacking Bruce before Xmas. If so, am I the only one who'd take a Souness vs. Villa (lucky draw) scenario to see him kept in his job a while longer? Lose on Saturday and it's got to be close. You'd certainly not be the only one to take a lucky draw to keep agent Bruce there a little while longer.

Apparently there is next to no chance of sacking Bruce before Xmas. ££££££££ Aye, he won't walk away from that kind of payoff. Plus the board have backed him financially and need to back him with time unless it gets serious and relegation is a real possibility, which it won't as the quality at the bottom is shocking. It looks like a standstill season for Sunderland.
Dokko
Aye he'd be worth a hefty pay off surely. £6.5m plus £2m for his back room staff, it's not financially viable. Same reason England stick with capello, wrong contract at the wrong time.

Mike
Would love a hard fought draw to take some of the pressure off.
Revolution Number 9
I want them to lose narrowly but put in an almost decent performance, that will slacken some of the pressure and still keep them in a completely f***ing miserable position. taxfree
He won't be going with a loss anyway. Bruce's newest excuse - "The new players try too hard to impress, which is taking it's toll on the season start." How about - they're just not better. Geordie Ahmed
I find it staggering that they managed to SET THE TRANSFER WINDOW ALIGHT yet still failed to come away with a left winger
