David28
Club statement is good but only if it's not about guys like Kinnear or even Dowie to return. And it should not be that Ashley wants to sell the club again.

JH
Don't see the point in any statement. Job done. Enjoy your summer. See you in July. Fans were screaming out for communication and commitment. Here are both. No doubt when it comes, many will just say "He's lying! He's not commited to us!!" anyway
Guest BooBoo
If Llambias ever got one thing right it was his comment that certain fans are just basically unreasonable. He may have kept it to himself but he was correct, a small proportion are just blinded by the anti Ashley drive and can't see the bigger picture. Guest BooBoo
It's pathetic really. The club don't communicate and it's "Keep the fans informed FFS'". Release statements and it's "Shut the fuck up you liars!" Its so tedious.

Here are both. No doubt when it comes, many will just say "He's lying! He's not commited to us!!" anyway It just annoys the hell out of me sometimes. We know he's a c***, people don't have to keep f***ing saying it. We're stuck with him at the end of the day. He isn't selling up and we aren't buying it, so let's just get on with it. This season has shown just exactly what working together can do. Some of the players are utter s*** and we were in the gutter in September, yet they all pulled together and managed to get promoted against all expectations. So instead of constantly attacking Ashley, why don't we just listen to what they have to say? And let's make a real go of staying in this league, because at the end of the day we want what's best for NUFC because we're fans and so does Ashley, because he has to protect his investment. NUFC is bigger than Ashley, so let's just fucking prove it.

I've not said a bad word about the bloke in months. Hopefully ther thread won't be derailed into a pro/anti Ashley argument.

Skirge
"we" as in him and fat lambias cuntface "are very happy to have taken the club back to the Premier League. We now feel we have the right plan in place to take the club forward and we will do so by giving Chris Hughton our full support, we are sure everyone will agree he has done an outstanding job. We feel that it will be best if we offer Chris as much support as possible so we will be bring in Martin Jol and a link between Chris and the boardroom". Will be that kind of utter shite... no doubt nailed on it WILL NOT be to say he is selling up.
Happy Face
That's pretty much what llambias said in the Ipswich program notes.... "I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone at this football club for everything you have done this season. "I'm well aware of how difficult things were this time last year and the potential struggles we faced going into this season, but all of your efforts have helped contribute to what has turned out to be a successful campaign. "Going back up to the Premier League was always our aim this season and we are delighted that this great club is now back where it belongs in the top flight of English football. "We now have the opportunity to plan for life back in the Premier League and we are under no illusions about the challenges that lie ahead.
olliemort
My guess would be they will be talking about there plans for the premiership.Thanking us for our great support,Hughton has being given a new contract?Wouldnt be suprised If there was a clause in his contract If he gets us up in his first season he would be given a new improved contract.I would expect to hear positive things anyways, probably there Idea to push season tickets. Happy Face
I'd be surprised if it didn't mention how Mikes put £136m (£45m a season) into the club since he's arrived and there's no greater sign of his commitment.
