One of the things I like about Del Bosque, he is resisting the calls to play fantasy football and just try to soehorn all of our most talented players in the same lineup. Busquets is the holding midfielder and Xavi is more of a deeper playmaker, and so I think Fabregas would have been a better option as the most forward of the three than Alonso. Tough group we have in that. Not that Wales and Montenegro should be any great challenge. Berbatov has fucked Bulgaria off so mightn't be so bad.
