We had certainly had our chances but the amount of times they were clean through on goal was unreal, could have been out of sight by half time.

We should have been level with 5 minutes to play. We also should've been playing against 10 men.

People forget fast mate, the amount of chances Sturridge blew.. It could have been 0-4 by HT and it wouldnt have been surprising.

Few on here claiming Chelsea struggled... yeah they struggled to score from 7 yards a dozen times.

David Luiz got away with murder. Most blatant red card I've seen all season. Clearly would have been a different game as it happened so early. Maybe even Taylor wouldn't have picked up that injury.

True enough, but to say "Chelsea hung on a bit until the two late sucker punches" is a complete fabrication.

Agree about the 10 men thing of course but feel they had far better chances than us.  Expected the net to bulge on numerous occasions, we were wide open.  Did think 3-0 was harsh at the end mind.

And this was during a dire period for them, where most people reckoned Chelsea was there for the taking.

I didn't say that, though.

Still, we should never have lost that game. Fluke.

You didn't, but that's how this discussion (regarding the Chelsea home match) got started.

Would it have been Sturridge sacrificed if Luiz was sent off? Would have saved us a lot of bother on that right with Loven and Raylor.

Anyway,  while Liverpool arent setting the premier league alight at the moment, when it comes to the actual fotball, we arent excactly the ones to talk, we should walk quietly in the hallway tbh, results have been flattering  most of the season.

Didn't Loven actually look reasonable that game for a change?

He had a few good attacking moments but considering he was put there to track back and graft he was awful. Was often nowhere near Raylor who also seemed to be playing far too high. Loven and Raylor on the flank
