summerof69
Part of the problem may well be that by the time this is manufactured, everyone will already have bought the puma shirt That makes no sense. I think he is trying to say that people may not be willing to spend money on a fans shirt if they have bought the new official one. Still makes no sense. Why would they have bought the new official one if they don't like it? Because some people do like the shirts but would prefer a fan made one which currently isn't available or it could be because some people collect themalso because some people like to be up to date with the newest strip or even just buy it because there is no alternative.. TheGuv
If they're happy to buy s*** they don't even like then I can't see them being arsed about the money. So it still makes no sense. This, and if you've already spent say the £45 on that heap of sh** and you think wow that fan shirt looks really good and looks like a proper shirt and hang on its for SBRF...i think i'll buy that. Bloody hell only £20. I really think people would go for it:)
SEMTEX
If they're happy to buy shit they don't even like then I can't see them being arsed about the money. So it still makes no sense. Doesn't work like that. This shirt isn't official, so won't be like crack, more like a mildly addictive painkiller.
The Quichà
Im certainly up for this especially if the funds go to Sir Bobbys Fund. Great idea

Kaizero
What was the outcome when you talked to the SBR Foundation then? Was asked to send a written proposal of the idea, which I now have. So we'll just have to wait.

summerof69
If its not Newcastle United it isn't Newcastle United, so no. Why? Newcastle United is a s*** organisation. Agreed, plus surely the real heart of the club is the fans and if the fans are making a shirt surely that has more to do with nufc than a shirt made by puma who are only loosely associated with nufc and didn't care to spend enough time and thought in to giving us a decent shirt. QBG
Personally yeah I'd buy the shirt. I'll still be buying all 3 new shirts though, I'm a mug like that you see.
Ketsbaia
Can use one of the designs from the Puma thread, with different logos of course.
nobby_solano
If such a shirt does get the backing of sir bobby's foundation then the design should probably be similar to the 01-03 kit

olliemort
Really good idea couldnt be possibly worse than the new home.I reckon alot of people will go for it as well, should go for a retro look with the blue star 1985 Keegan one would be class.Good luck with it anyways, hopefully you will get it up and running and make a few pounds for something worthwhile
Mistle17
I'd definitely buy one of these. Knowing it would not go towards Ashley's pocket would be a nice feeling also (that's aside from the SBR foundation, obviously). As people have suggested, keep the shirt neat with one or two retro additions such as the blue star and/or coat of arms etc it would be a big hit I'm sure. nobby_solano
something like that, but done properly would probably go down well... 2 stripes on the shoulder, town crest, sir bobby robson foundation logo i tried putting the logo on a blue star but the dimensions didn't sit right http://img534.imageshack.us/img534/5307/sirbobbyshirt.jpg

TheGuv
That's ok. I really like the look of the Coat of Arms on though. I can see why you chose the 01-03 season shirt. But i think thinner stripes and black and white all round would look better. But a decent attempt
Stifler
I'm sure Adidas would have something to say if it looked liek the 01-03 shirt, even if we did take away the Adidas logo and the 3rd stripe, it is still based on their design and they won't stand for it. Guest icemanblue
So, this young chap, who couldn't manage to write a forum awards list because of his numerous Hollywood blockbuster commitments, is going to design, create and distribute a football kit? Smashing. Sure it'll go really well.
