What is the Dresden Stoke thing? The other week I actually thought I had confused a Newcastle fan for a Stoke fan (that's not a dig Dresden, you were just going on about Stoke a lot).

They are his real team. It goes something like if his input on here is anything to go by:

1. Stoke

2. Mourinho

3. Port Vale

4. Newcastle

I don't, just Sewelly and a few others who can't stand me disagreeing with the majority of plebs on here.

Stoke hit the bar.  Arsenal's pure footballers so shit against Stoke's rugby team

Wilshire in fourfourtwo said that he hoped Arsenal would try and shoot more, rather than constantly passing. Think he's on to something!

I can imagine it must be really fun to be a genuine Stoke fan. Knowing you've came up from the lower leagues and you're now a mid-table Premiership club, who's only real feature is terrible football that beats better teams.

At the end of the day everyone knows how they play it's not a suprise so why are these "better" teams incapable of setting themselves up to combat that?

The only solace that can be taken is Stoke's style of play will limit them to always be nothing more than mid-table.

Well no, it would depend on that plus the quality of players available, no?

Love how much you hate Stoke Sewelly.  Genuinely makes me smile.

The new Bolton. Fair play to them they play to their strengths. How Arsenal could do with a Robert Huth though,

Arsenal really need to use the wings instead of just faffing about in the middle. Get Chamakh or Bendtner on and go 4-4-2 and mix the play up a little bit, just for once. There's been absolutely no plan b from Arsenal today.

There is absolutely nothing redeeming about Stoke City whatsoever. Disgusting vile place, violent detestable fans, horrible w***** of a manager, turgid football and f***ing dirty b****** players.

Sewelly and one other person like this.

Arsenal committed more fouls in the first half and had less possession.  Stoke are currently good value for their two goal lead and should be three up, but for the crossbar.

Everyone knows exactly what Stoke are about, especially at home. So what exactly was Wenger's plan here? Wilshere, Walcott, Arshavin....all dwarves with no strength. He doesn't have a plan B for those boring weekend when you have to go to Stoke or Wolves and grind something out.

I'd far rather set my team up to beat 75% of the league than just to beat a shithole team like Stoke. Nevertheless, 'champions' need to be able to mix it up, like Chelsea and Man United.

Managers are very stubborn 'their' way is always the correct method. To change it would be to admit they were wrong... or something.

3rd place and conceding the most goals from set pieces in the league.  Wenger and co definitely needs to give that area of the game some consideration.  They wont of course.

Wenger is over the top though. At this rate, he can develop his youngsters till the cows come home and he will never win a trophy. Continuously churning out softshite cheating sides with very little tactical flexibility will get you nowhere these days.
