If Man City get through in second, who could they face?

Vilarreal, Zenit, Spartak, Twente, Ajax, Braga, Stuttgart, PSG, Porto, Sporting, CSKA, Leverkusen, Kiev and one of PSV or Metallist.

Leverkusen aren't through yet. It'll be Atletico and ARIS if Atletico beat Leverkusen and the current ARIS result remains, no?

They top the group. Atletico need to better Aris' result.

Leffe - the teams going through currently in 2nd are a lot weaker IMO although Rubin Kazan & Benfica are strong in that half from the CL.

16mins - MAN UNITED GOAL (1-0): It's been a tight game which needed a goal, and it's been provided by the home side's Ravel Morrison. He picked the ball up on the edge of the box and shot with a low effort which left Ole Soderberg helpess.

Anyone watching Leverkusen-Atketico on ITV4?

Awesome conditions. The orange ball makes an appearance!

He's just come off as well.

43mins - MAN UNITED GOAL (2-0): William Keane, the Man United number nine, tricks his way into the box but Jeff Henderson defends well and the ball goes out for a corner. However, Magnus Eikrem's flag-kick is not well-defended and Keane is able to force home from just a couple of yards out.

And some typical Newcastle news:

45+1mins - Yven Moyo goes up for a header and lands badly. Physio Michael Harding treats him but it looks unlikely that he'll be back out for the second-half. At half-time, it's 2-0 to the home side and Newcastle have yet to truly get going.

I can handle losing to ARIS since it means those Spanish cuntbags are out. Faty's goal was something else. Really need a good striker though, as Rosenborg have more than enough chances, they just never go in. Needs fixing before next European season.

53mins - MAN UNITED MISS PEN - And Keane is denied by Soderberg for the second time in two minutes, this time from the penalty spot. Tyler Blackett was adjudged to have been fouled by James Tavernier, although there didn't seem to be much in it, and took the resulting spot-kick himself. However Soderberg springs to his left to parry it.

54mins - NEWCASTLE GOAL (1-2): That penalty miss could be costly now as Joan Edmundsson makes a strong run down the left and crosses low where Michael Richardson is lurking. His shot takes a deflection to leave Ben Amos wrong-footed, and suddenly Newcastle are right back in it.

They sent us out with a fluky shot from what was almost the middle of the pitch when we'd absolutely buttraped them all match.

Ah yes, I remember that incident. Fair enough. Schadenfreude time then:
