Pilko
I'm sure Enrique said it seems like Hughton works 24 hours a day for the club, the fact that he's in and ready for an interview at 8.30am suggests he does late nights and early mornings. When your from a mixed race family you learn that you have to graft that little bit harder than others doing the same job. from what you read in some places he probably spent his childhood giving handjobs for food. Guest
Ben Arfa will be training with the squad and Hughton will still be in the Press Conference denying it.
GeordieDazzler
Scottwilsonecho Early start tomorrow for 8.30am start with Chris Hughton. Should get latest on Ben Arfa and Taylor - "they're names we're aware of..." There's no point. We all know he'll say it's just 'speculation'. Hughton's is the only word I believe less than Dassier's Was funny a few weeks ago when he said the no contact made line and all the french press took his word for it. Took them a little while to clock on.

Memphis
Clearly Ben Arfa's somehow gotten an amazingly favorable impression of Hughton and the club. Whether that's through direct conversation, indirect contacts, or just plain luck, I don't know. But he not only wants to play in the Premier League, he wants to play here - even if it's just for a season. If the deal goes ahead as rumored, it's an enormous coup. Very little risk if he turns into a gigantic problem - just drop him, he doesn't play 25 games, we have no obligations. If he plays 25 games, he will have by definition been good enough to help, and worthy of purchase. Look at Anelka with Bolton - stroppy prick played hard for Sammy Lee and scored crucial goals (23 in 61 games - 53 starts). It's possible Ben Arfa takes to the Premiership perfectly and loves it. No doubt we need creativity and pace and flair...he has the lot. And he might even love it here - he surely loves the airport already. Who knows?
