Disco
Have we offered him increased wages because if he on £30k+ already and he is turning that down he can get to fuck. This compounded more with him being local.
David Icke - Son of God
People saying Sol Campbell has another season left in him really haven't got a clue. Technically he's still very good but he's awfully unfit. The past two games he's been piss poor but when he's been called upon before that he still looked the part. The thing with Sol is you can never tell how he is mentally either.

Ikon
How much could we get if we decided to sell him? 2-3M?
jdckelly
How much could we get if we decided to sell him? 2-3M? at best really, probably less than 2m
Ikon
If he wants more than he's worth he can go, bring in Wheater or someone instead.
ToonMonty
If he wants more than he's worth he can go, bring in Wheater or someone instead. I think Wheater's contract runs out this season as well, if so Wheater in Taylor out would improve the squad.
jdckelly
wheater has to be one of the most overrated defenders around, i really don't get what people see in him

Dave
Swapping Wheater for Taylor would be utterly pointless in terms of quality.
jdckelly
curtis davies would be who i'd go for personally
ToonMonty
curtis davies would be who i'd go for personally Would be another good option, looked excellent a while ago, only concern would why he's disappeared off the radar for a while. Has he been injured?
Ikon
Swapping Wheater for Taylor would be utterly pointless in terms of quality. I agree. But i would be happy having him as backup, decent enough for that, and Willicini partnership will do for me this season. Just dont want us to loose taylor for nothing, and i would rather go with Willicini and put the money on a striker instead of improving that area with a more expensive defender
ToonMonty
Swapping Wheater for Taylor would be utterly pointless in terms of quality. Fair enough, I don't give Boro much attention I just thought Wheater looked better than Taylor when both clubs went down but I'll take your word for it. TRon
The biggest difference between Williamson and Taylor is that Williamson doesn't think he's worth superstar wages. If Taylor can get bigger wages at another club then good luck to him.

Guest toonlass
I have been told by someone ITK (I know, I know, but I don't usually do this) that Taylor wants £45k a week and NUFC won't pay that. Also that Taylor is unhappy about the stability of the club.
Ronaldo
He's worth around half that. I hope the club tell him to fuck right off.
midds
The club has to weigh up the cost of keeping him against the cost of replacing him. I don't particularly want to see him go for nowt but I don't think he's that good and he could be replaced fairly cheaply. He's not Beckenbauer ffs, he's a big lad who's decent. £45k a week is taking the piss. Hope the club call his bluff and he ends up at somewhere like Coventry. binnsy
he's going to use the "stability" factor as his reason/excuse for having to leave.
jdckelly
bye bye steven don't let the door hit you on the way out and enjoy stoke or wolves (who are apparently the only sides with real interest)
