Far from a great footballer, but his hold up play is generally good, he's a decent finisher and terrific penalty taker. Useful player who can do a job for us if we want to compete in all 3 competitions this season. All of this Also, the figures (£30k+ pw) mentioned in this thread are far, far wide of the mark. I accept that were we challenging near the top of the league then he'd be nowhere near the squad, but as we are a midtable side with an owner who is far from likely to spend good money on a quality striker he's decent enough to stay on the books. Who else is going to stay/come as 3/4 choice striker.
