Obviously it all depends on what Nolan's after, but with Ashley and Llambias's past, the neutral starting point with me for this is quite comfortably in both Barton and Nolan's camp.

At this moment he's worth every penny he gets.

I'm not sure he'll be a first-team regular at 30 here though.

Tbf, I don't know why we are offering Nolan a new contract anycase.  IMO, he'll be lucky to be getting into any prem starting 11 in 2 years time with his fitness issues and that.

Hope all these lads from France won't be asking for the wages their value suggests or they'll get short shrift from this lot, especially if Ashley's heard the rumours about Yeovil's number 9 having a buyout clause.

All reports suggest Cabaye will be on £50k plus a week so not quite sure what you're getting at.

It's such a shame that all of these players, who have played an integral part in getting us back on our feet, have turned out to be selfish, greedy c***s, like.

What?  Without knowing the details of the contract(s), how the fuck can you make such a sweeping ridiculous statement?

Ben Arfa will be around 50k as well.

Oh, hard to detect sarcasm at times when the smiley's aren't used. #FAIL

Sarcasm, mate.

This whole charade will be played out each time one of our established players is due to sign a new deal.

Aye, see the post above yours, my appologies.  Agree by the way, Colo will be the next to 'reject' his contract.

If the club think they can get better replacements for them both (Barton and Nolan), then why should they offer contracts to them?

All reports at the time of us signing Nolan had him on £50k.  He's been worth that and probably will next season, but at 31 when his contract finally ends?, no way.
