ponsaelius
Williamson has been sound.
Guest BooBoo
Sound ... Not quite. Has shown his frailties in all 6 games so far this season imo. Cobblers. He did well at Man Utd, had a very good game v Villa and mopped up well at Everton.
Colocho
We need defenders of Premiership quality, who will perform week in week out. Colo is close to this, Williamson has a very long way to go.

Tooj
We need defenders of Premiership quality, who will perform week in week out. Colo is close to this, Williamson has a very long way to go. Yet you think we need Simpson back.
Colocho
Simpson is better than Perch.
Guest BooBoo
Agree but that's a different point. So far in 6 and a bit games, Williamson has done well. It's ludicrously over critical to say otherwise.
Colocho
Maybe I am being over critical. But say we stay up this season, next and naturally start pushing for a top 10 finish is he going to be good enough?
Tooj
Simpson is better than Perch. He's still not Premier League quality though.
ponsaelius
Broken record, but we should have signed Onuoha.

Colocho
Excellent again today ... Outmuscled and outjumped by a man what, 7 inches shorter than him? Really not cut out for the prem like.

Colocho
Correction: Mistakes. He made two big mistakes today. N'Zogbia done him twice. The foul on Tevez last week? The inability to be dominant against Stoke, in which he had a part to play in their first goal ..?

Pilko
It wasn't a foul on Tevez, he quite clearly got the ball, and it was outside of the box. He was beaten in the air for the first Stoke goal, however the larger error came from Carroll who totally deserted Jones for some reason and allowed him a free header from 4 yards out. The second Stoke goal stemmed from Perch walking the ball out of play, giving Stoke a succession of throws, a corner, and then Perch heading the ball into his own goal. Nothing to do with Williamson. Totally over the top hatred of a player who frankly is the least of our worries right now.
