Gotham Town was superb last night (if you ignored the fancy-dress twats), Hey Jude playing when the highlights were on the telly. :smitten: They also played the Collocini song and Daydream Believer.

They played Local Hero towards the end. Unreal.

Dean the DJ is a mega NEwcaslte fan he is a good kid.

It's mental how many people are around town wearing Toon shirtsr today like. I know there are usually quite a few, but this is mental - you'd think it was a matchday.

I have mine on at Uni for the first time in a while like :D

Hoofing people will only get you so far, i cant beleive the mackems are complaining that he cant tackle as refs have it in for him.  Without his fucking hoffing of other playerrs he has nothing else to bring to the game.  He is just a body on the pitch.

That's the thing though, we didn't just outplay them - comprehensively - we absolutely kicked seven colours of shit out of them all over the park.

Thanks to this match we're now 7th, with 19 goals scored, 4th most in the Premiership and 6 goal more than the 5th team which is City.

That's impressive. (i know 11 came from two matches but w/e)

This deserves its own thread but just registered so can't post it yet. Haven't seen this posted anywhere on site so here's  a link to the happy Geordie from last night's 606 phone in:

The rant starts at 17:49 but there's a bit of Sunderland input for context

Just move the slider on the progress bar to 17:20 and share the joy

I should be doing a tally - sat on a computer by a main door doing some work, and every other person who walks through the door has a strip on. Alot of people wanting to rub it in today like

What a fucking prick.

Fair play to Dowd, he's not backing off despite Twattermole's minging breath.

Last 3 games at St James were Barnsley 6-1, Villa 6-0 and Mackems 5-1.

17 goals in 3 games.

Seen us win every game this season when i've been there including the reserves.

Just looking back through the thread.

Tiote is really nervous.

Perhaps he doesn't like loud noises.

Watching the game again on MOTD2, someone charges out of their defence for no apparent reason, leaving Nolan unmarked to score his second. Bizarre decision by the defender (who looks suspiciously like Bramble) who apparantly realises his bus is about to depart and just legs it
