Guest johnson293
Sure I read/heard somewhere that it was a two match ban, just to confuse things further??!! EDIT: One match, according the Scum.... http://www.safc.com/news/20101101/bramble-to-miss-stoke-clash_2256213_2204471 'Sent off for denying a goalscoring opportunity, which carries an automatic single-match suspension'

Neil
Disagree. It ensures Turner's starting.
Beren
Mensah would have come back in anyway IMO.
Wullie
Yeah 'professional foul' as they used to be known is a one match ban.
Guest johnson293
Mensah would have come back in anyway IMO. Speaking of which, loved it on Sunday when Nolan was really winding him up (late on) - Mensah just lost it. All the shirt pulling and holding on the line, he gets booked for it, and then keeps doing it - ref had to basically threaten him with a red card to stop him doing it, but would love to know what Nolan did/said to him to get him so worked up??!! AyeDubbleYoo
Always thought it's a bit harsh that a player gets sent off and has to miss the next game.
Exiled in Texas
Deterrent not to get sent off.
Anderson
After watching the Sky highlights a couple of times I think my favourite part (bar the obvious ones) has to be Hughton's celebration to the 4th. Just pipping Barton back heeling past Richardson who he knows is trying to hunt him down and not even looking back to check it came off. Edit: Actually Sholas 'celebration' of Nolans 3rd has to contribute to a top 3.
JH
I was wondering where the fuck he was going for a second "SHOLA MAN, WE'RE RUNNING THIS WAY"
ponsaelius
Yeah that made me laugh out loud upon re-watching the game. Infact Shola's celebration after his second goal was hilarious aswell, beaming smile, hands pointed into the sky like some kind of Christ figure. OzzieMandias
Just watched the highlights for one last time before filing them away. It's still a joy to watch, from the first goal and its celebration, to the sarcastic cheer when they finally put one in. Carroll on the charge, Ameobi's smile, Barton's balls into the box, Nolan kissing the camera, Bumble getting sent off, mackems traipsing out of the stands -- one heartwarming moment after another. OK, time to move on.
