Ramires has come no closer to fulfilling his job description than Perch has to his. I'm not saying Ramires isn't the better player, clearly, but he's been every bit as woeful. Ginola Posted March 17, 2011 Share Posted March 17, 2011 I was under the impression that Ramires was initially signed as more of a holding midfielder type, but having seen him I wouldn't have a clue what his 'specialist role' is, so I agree with you entirely on that, and that he hasn't been worth his price tag, which I mentioned before. My point was just that he hasn't been one of the worst players in the premiership, which he hasn't. Worst in terms of value, possibly, but not one of the worst overall.
