Dave
Another win should just about seal safety. Not sure I'd go that far, but beating Wolves would be almost as important because of the opposition and the confidence boost as the points.
Guest
For us to go down one of the bottom 3 has to win 2 more games than us. Is that likely? Doubtful.
madras
just looked at the other fixtures for the weekend we play wolves. should we win it could go a long long way to helping us stop up.

Wolves have won as many games as we have, so it's not beyond the realms of possibility. The next game is fucking huge for us.
geordie jamie
IF we lose to Wolves i think we will go down as that will destroy all confidence. But if we win i would be very confident of staying up. The game is that big for us.
brummie
Still think there's 3 significantly worse teams, namely Wigan, Wolves and Blackpool. Wolves have a lot of spirit. You can add us to that list, though. Team hate the manager, manager hates the fans, fans hate the manager, zero spirit. We're at very real risk

Guest Flatline
exactly. For that reason I`d put us 20th in terms of form right now. Apathy indeed. Now, ive had 24 hours to digest the stoke loss I see it this way; Mike Ashley is a gambler, so its in his nature. He reckoned even without Carroll we would stay up. We might, or we might not. If we do stay up, splash all the cash on players this summer and come out the strengthened team, I`ll give credit where credit is due. ending up 10th or 15th like is no big difference if it means you can properly shop this summer. In that case he will have gambled and won. However, if we do go down, its been an utter failure. Unfortunately Mike doesnt deem the risk too high, so atm we are trying to cope without any real strikers. As for the big Hughton vs Pardew debate, you lot seem to forget one thing: Hughton at least had proper strikers, a fit Carroll and a fit Ameobi. Apples and oranges tbh.. Broadsword
i will feel better when we get that win to stop the slump. But cant see where that will come from Dear god, we have Wolves, West Brom and Birmingham to play at home.

brummie
If you're looking for teams that are on the slide, I reckon it is us, you, Blackburn and Blackpool It is as wide open as it has been for years, and nobody in a big batch of teams can be ruled out. Next game will be interesting. Past 3 or 4 games against you we've generally been the better side yet contrived not to win any, so don't rule out a scrappy 1-0 win. Or another draw. We like draws. Guest
I can see we're in trouble now but little titbit stats like that are meaningless. 3 points off Wolves are crucial though.
