The madness isn't the bench today, it's what we did in January.

Loaning out a decent player like Routledge, getting in a crocked one like Ireland and at the same time we can't say we were surprised by the fact that Ben Arfa, Gosling and Smith are out injured still. Those 3 injuries are something we should have looked to get cover for but instead we ended up one more man down by loaning Routledge out and replacing him (numerically at least) with someone who's fucked.

Idiocy.

No Ireland again? Now there's a surprise.  The bad window of January being exposed for all to see - you ask for trouble and you get it.

We aren't paying his wages if he isn't playing so it makes absolutely no difference,Theres a strong chance he will make a positive impact on the games towards the end of the season..

There's also a chance he may not even kick a ball for us this season!

Again,We aren't paying his wages,If we hadn't of signed Ireland on loan who is to say we would have bought anyone in? It was worth the risk imo,Win/Win situation..

How the hell is it a win/win situation by signing an injured player? The only 'winner' is Ashley who can say that he brought someone in without having to spend any cash. Honestly, we had a stronger squad last season when we were in the championship!
