And if sold, for how much?

 

 

My votes for the exit door are:

 

Shola - it won't happen but we can dream surely? [3m]

Loven - may be time to let him go [2m?]

Ranger - loaned out at all cost

Perch - simply not good enough [at any cost]

Kuqi - obvious reasons

Campbell - see above

Guthrie - only championship standard [3m]

Vuckic - loan needed

Kadar - loan needed

Smith - sell at any cost

Xisco - see above

Lua Lua - loan

Newcastle United attacker Peter Lovenkrands is interesting Birmingham City.

 

The Daily Mail says Brum boss Alex McLeish is keen to snap up the Dane.

 

Lovenkrands has complained this season about the lack of first team action he's seen and has invited the interest of former club FC Copenhagen.

 

McLeish knows Lovenkrands from his time at Rangers.

Interesting thread. People are happy to get rid of basically all our remaining forwards? Are we gonna sign a starter or 2 and a few squad forwards as well? Personally I'd do this:

 

Sold

 

Kuqi - shite

Smith - shite

Guthrie  - championship standard, will have cover if we need it anyway with Barton possibly losing his RM role and if he doesnt we have Gosling to play there to free Barton for CM. We will probably sign another CM as well.

Campbell - shite

Routledge - isnt good enough to challenge for the top 10, QPR are willing to buy him so get rid.

Xisco - hasnt settled and probably never will.

R.Taylor - not good enough.

Perch - shite.

 

Loan

 

Ranger - so important that he gets regular football and grows up a bit.

Vuckic - needs regular football.

Kadar - regular football and that leek.

Lua Lua - regular football.

 

Id get rid of Lovenkrands too, but only if we sign another squad player to play up front. Hes shite, but we need squad players for up front. I would also consider Harper's position at the club, it might be time for Forster and Krul to be the number 1 and 2.

 

We cant really afford to lose too many players with our small squad either.

Guthrie going out would depend heavily on who comes in, if we don't buy another CM and RM then he might well be needed.

 

I think he's still got Premier League potential, but hopefully NUFC will progress to a point where it will be with a lesser club.
