David28
He's just single handedly kept Wigan up. That was hardly cowardace. single handedly kept them up??? haha do me a favour, did you see the rest of his season. Had he pulled his finger out wigan wouldnt even be in that position. problem with some of you lot is , you're blinded by players simply because they have great technical abilities, but you forget about their application and heart. That is what kept us up this season. He's right though. A team of N'Zogbias won't give you a comeback against Arsenal the way we got it last season. Hanshithispantz
We should base every player we sign on the merit that the may or may not "give us a 4 goal comeback against Arsenal" like.

Neil
He's right, ish. You won't have a team of N'Zogbias. You will keep your team spirit while improving the footballing ability of the side. ...or that's the idea anyway.

What about when he lead Wigan from 2-0 down to a 3-2 victory against Arsenal the season before?
Gallowgate Toon
A team of N'Zogbias might not get you a magnificent fightback to gain a point against Arsenal but they'd do a lot to get 3 points against the like of Stoke and Bolton. I know which one I'd pick.

LooneyToonArmy
5m euros? Is he out of contract of contract next season? Seems a bit low..... 10m roughly for Zoggy and Cabaye? Would be nice

JH
This "team spirit" thing is great, and hopefully we can keep it together, but it's not going to carry us back into Europe. We need to add quality or we'll not go anywhere. N'Zogbia is quality.

He'd definitely have been sat cross-legged on the touchline in a huff and refusing to play at HT.

Guest young master
We should base every player we sign on the merit that the may or may not "give us a 4 goal comeback against Arsenal" like. silly comment. we need players that has the commitment and drive to succeed, not the types that thinks simply because they are blessed with technical skills automatically means they can stand around and wait for the ball to come. yes sure, a committed player also needs skills, but that is the next level we are trying to achieve, get those type of players , they are the ones that will improve our side. or we go back to the days of signing these big exotic names that are hype jobs, and once they get on the field they cant even be arsed to run because they are so far up their own backsides.
