Dinho lad
I bet his injury worries are not as bad as some people (in the football world) make it out to be.

ponsaelius
Wikipedia is completely unreliable for international stats, particularly for African matches. Remember the difficulty on here just trying to follow the African qualifying scores anywhere on the internet.

Yeah was just going to say, they seem very top heavy with strikers. Rest of the squad is pap in comparison.

Guest Brazilianbob
This scenario is so predictable! We sell carroll for £35m and are told it will all be spent on transfers in the summer. We identify quality players, ie gameiro and gervinho, who turn us down. So rather than going for another big name striker, we sign Demba BA on a free transfer. It is panning out just as many said it would. We make noises about signing quality players, but because we cant offer european footbal they will and have turned us down. We will end up with a couple of decent signings but nothing to take us to the next level and the club will state that they tried to sign the best but they wouldn't come! End result £15m tops spent but enrique, barton, jonas and nolan all gone and mike trousers about £40m!!!! We fall for it every year, you would think we would learn but we don't!!! norwegianmagpie
Is he even in the current Senegal squad? Only has 10 caps since 2007 [wiki]. Seems strange Great ! As long as he's scoring goals at club level, it's just a bonus that he don't seem to play to many internationals. Don't want us to sign to many players going to the AC every fourth winter. Not a coincidence that United never, that I remember, have had a african internation in their ranks.

Player being free means fuck all about their ability. He's proven to be a perfectly good striking option. Good signing
