The article states an EIGHT figure offer Aye but then Douglas has got on Twitter and backpedaled (as journalists tend to do), stating the offer is actually in that bracket now. Simon Bird did exactly the same thing re: Demba Ba yesterday. His article in the Mirror stated the deal was done, to be confirmed... then on Twitter it's hit a snag regarding wages. Rich Posted June 12, 2011 Share Posted June 12, 2011 I'd assume Ba would be the target man and I'm more inclined to believe the smaller striker is El-Arabi ahead of Erdinç, given that he's more versatile.
