He has very good ability on the ball. But he doesn't really look interested.

I don't think he was ever pacey but decent enough. He has seemed pretty slow tonight, reminded me of Nobby in his second stint.

Maybe he just needs time to settle and to get his fitness back.

People have just massively overrated him, he just looks unsuited to the English game to me.

He's a good player, give him time. Some of the reactions to a few poor performances after a lengthy injury are OTT.

Didnt think he was that bad. It's true that he doesnt look like he's going to beat his man but he's composed and keeps the ball well and has an eye for a pass.

I thought he distributed ball fine, but think he wants playing where Vuckic was imo, did seem little unhurried.

Calm down everyone. He's been out for almost two seasons in a row. Ben Arfa was pretty awful from time to time when he returned from his injury and he's pretty decent at the moment. If Marveaux stays fit he will become a great player, no doubt about that. He just needs some time to find his feet on the ground before he can start playing football properly.

I've said it before but don't think we'll see the best of him until after xmas, still think its a mental thing for him and he needs minutes on the pitch to get it into his head that his body isn't going to break down again as he's still playing with the handbrake on at the minute.

You said he let himself and all supporters down. Completley different things.

Marveaux isn't the type of player that attacks from deep, he needs to start higher up the pitch where he can use his attributes at best, he has great acceleration and balance, but i don't think we'll see the best of him until we become better/have more possession as a team. Should be doing better anyway, mind.
