Anderson
I'd go France & Sweden DNB if I was looking for a double. Will most likely just be sticking to a single on France tomorrow though.

Anderson
Daft question - why do bookies use 6/4 and not 3/2?
SEMTEX
Cos they're cunts. My favourite is 100/
Ocho
Daft question - why do bookies use 6/4 and not 3/2? From wiki: Fixed odds are not necessarily presented in the lowest possible terms; if there is a pattern of odds of 5–4, 7–4 and so on, odds which are mathematically 3–2 are more easily compared if expressed in the mathematically equivalent form 6–4. Similarly, 10–3 may be stated as 100–30.
wormy
100/30 does my head in. Can't wait for decimal to take a foothold.

Hanshithispantz
Decimals are much easier when looking at a load of odds, fractions are easier to work out the return though.

Similarly, 10–3 may be stated as 100–30. To the average punter with minimal knowledge of betting, 100/30 looks more appealing than 10/3. Half of my mates who have a casual bet don't understand fractional odds.

David28
33.33€ returns 1088. If that happens, the 33.33 will be my new lucky number. Yes, the time of the almost legendary 533.33 seem to be over. (They will be back again, though.)
