ujpest doza
Thing for me is - yesterday wasn't a straight fight about their merits - Elliot wasn't moving right after the knock, you don't leave a potentially injured keeper on in a game where you're under pressure. He should have been subbed. THIS. His injury caused their first two goals. Darlow should have been on as soon as he sat down.

I'm sure I remember thinking that at the time.

NEEJ
One for the football pet hates, that. I can understand a 'keeper not having his gloves on, but why don't they sit there in their shin pads and boots all ready to go? Rectangles.

UncleBingo
I thought he could have done a lot better with goals 2 & 3 Same here, especially the 2nd.
triggs
I thought he definitely should have saved the second one. Surprised it wasn't mentioned much considering he's got pelters on here for much tougher ones in the past IMO
binnsy
want to see the goals again of TV but surely he should be stopping the 2nd and 3rd goals, especially the 3rd, surely he should get to that cross before the striker.

The third i was directly in line with and it was a fantastic ball in that looks so easy but beats most keepers. Easier than it looks.
Newintoon
Think he should of saved at least 3 of the goals possibly 4 if I’m being over critical
Figures 1-0 Football
If we concede a goal that Rob Elliot isn’t to blame for, then have we actually conceded a goal?
Infinitely Content
Wtf is he getting the blame for now man Bloody hell, pure witch hunt.
Wallsendmag
Imagine the meltdown on here if he'd conceded that goal Lloris let in yesterday
Infinitely Content
I haven't seen it, but god forbid Elliot makes a howler one week. He'll be crucified. Poor bloke.
Away Day Gadgie
Should have definitely stopped the 2nd, even though it was a deflection it travelled a long way with not much pace on it. Can't blame him for either of the other ones though.

Can't blame him for either of the other ones though. Had a really good view of it from the corner and didn't think he could do much about it. Certainly the crowd didn't blame him nor has he taken the blame in any of the match reports I've read or in the commentary. Made one really good save in the 1st half but didn't command his area well I thought.

I think most Premier League keepers would've stopped it personally.
