Quote i got from nufcblog,

“It’s a worry. It looks like it could be a cartilage and it’s not something you want when he’s just come into the building.

“Maybe we’re looking at a month out. He’s going to have to get it cleaned out, it’s keyhole surgery nowadays which is a quicker operation but it will certainly mean at least four weeks out.”

“He’s been through a really thorough medical and he’s a little bit unlucky as we’re only a week or so on from the medical. He trained today and trained well.”

“It was just when he came off, he complained a little bit and we’re erring on the side of caution with him.” “Davide has had a few injuries in the last couple of years which isn’t ideal.

Sounds slightly positive.

So did having a striker in 100%, Carroll staying 100% and all the £35m reinvested 100%.

It's all bullshit man, you just have to turn up and watch and hope for a win.

It's almost as if signing injury prone players because they're cheaper might leave you with more injury prone players. One of those weird coincidences.

nah, can't be.

Funny that our pressing need for a back-up left-back was completely overshadowed by the Enrique situation. We should've been looking for two players to play in that position - Ryan Taylor put in a horror show against SWP in the last match.

Genuinely hoping Ferguson steps up and that Pardew has the guts to drop Raylor and play an inexperienced, youngster.

23 appearances in 2009/10 as an 18 year old, 29 appearances last season as a 19 year old.

Yeah, he's definitely 'injury prone'. Seems as though this is his only injured that might see him miss 7 or 8 games this season - which tbh is a pretty standard amount for a lot of players to miss these days.
