loki679
Not worried in the slightest about who we might sign. It's what we do with them that scares me. This squad - Elliot Debuchy NEW Colo Santon Bigi Tiote Sissoko Ben Arfa NEW Cisse Krul Perch Taylor MYM Haidara Anita Cabaye Marveaux Jonas Gouffran NEW Plus a number of youngsters when we are short. A couple of top signings and we could put out two 11s that are more than good enough if used right Every time I see this 4-2-3-1 my heart sinks a little. That's 7 out of 11 players primarily defensive. And we wonder why we look so negative all the time.

It's possibly our supposed rigidness that stifles the creative side. If we can get Tiote back to the form he was showing a while back then I suppose we could give another DM a bit more license to get forward but a 4-3-3 gives us a much better balance between attack and defense imo. Again though I suppose it depends on how the manager sets it up.
