Skirge
Van Geel clarifies rumor about Newcastle By MITCHEL PRONK __ published on June 16, '12 11:50 p.m. Stefan de Vrij is being watched by Newcastle United, but according to technical director Martin van Geel , there is (still) no specific interest in the youth According to the sporting driver, the 20-year-old center defender just in Rotterdam. "We have nobody yet reported for The Released . You never know in this world. There will always be rumors. Until 1 September the transfer window opened and it will be unrest undoubtedly continue. You know for example that a player like Ron Vlaar a European Championship play, rumors about him than logical. I always go out of concrete things, and now there is nothing, "said the 51-year-old Van Geel , still looking for a new striker for Feyenoord . "That continues. We have our group broadly all in order, but there would still be at a real number nine." The name of Luc Castaignos boasts the highest on the wish list of the Cockpit residents. The 19-year-old attacker is also coveted by Liverpool and West Ham United . " Castaignos is still an option. We hope there next week clarity about it. If Internazionale he wants to rent, we are an option. Luc would like and we would like. Then you should then see if it is financially feasible . The ball is in any case Internazionale "concludes Van Geel , who Castaignos sees a possible successor to John Guidetti , against RTV Rijnmond . http://www.elfvoetbal.nl/nieuws/193005_van-geel-verschaft-duidelijkheid-omtrent-newcastle-gerucht
sugoinufc
God forbid we should try and build a squad, or should we just replace bench players with more bench players ? We need a strong attacking force, not sure why everyone automatically assumes a bid for Luke means Demba is off.. i dont think ba will leave..only for a huge offer he cant refuse...like anybody else. We all know it takes a quality strike-force to compete in the PL, the cups + europe. we also have the ACoN again so therefore luuk would be good....also if he can play on the left side in a 4-3-3 or 4-5-1 if you like. with him or another quality striker on board i dont think ba or cisse is considering leaving coz a new striker is coming...there will be plenty for playing time for all. Also pardew and ashley knows that this season is very very important in order to catch up with the top or stay very close. We have a AWESOME team who wants to succeed with this side because of the team spirit etc. But this is only for next season....if we fook up and have a bad season.....then many will leave and we will have to start over again....therefore is this window important coz many players are interested in coming. i dont think we need to spend that much. 2 good/quality defenders, 1 good midfielder, 1 good striker we have young squad players like vuckic, sammy, shane, abeid, amalfitiano who will be ready to step up in some of the cup and european games. we are building a squad and therefore we wont see any of our best players leave this summer unless its a really good offer...which is fair. Guest bimpy474
Stuff about us in for Toby Alderweireld, all i can find at the moment is an Ajax fansite saying we are going to insult them with a £4m bid. As if we would. Going to do a bit more digging.
Guest bimpy474
"Newcastle United is preparing a bid for Toby Alderweireld laughable. The Magpies first wanted to remove Douglas at FC Twente, but by all intermediaries around the defender has been no sense in that deal. Alan Pardew now in doubt between Steven Caulker from Swansea City or Alderweireld of Ajax. Either way the coach wants no more than four million to spend on a new defender." Centre-back, Belgian, Right Footed, Indredibly comfortable in posession, 23 years old, Also pretty strong in the tackle and a good header of the ball. Revolution
I don't think Colo is slow personally. Or Taylor in that respect. And they weren't exposed by pace when they played together.
jdckelly
Colo's not slow but he's not exactly pacey and has been caught out before by quick players beating the offside trap.
