Bimpy and TT showing their true ignorance here, like. Embarrassing.

The only ignorance around here is people like you not accepting Cisse real motives and the damage it is doing to the club.

Another so called fan who puts the clubs well being last.

 Another SUPAFAN who has literally MADE UP a reason to hate our star striker. You're fucking mental sometimes, TT.

You trying to get a job at the sun like?

The issue, as I see it, isn't his chosen "beliefs", its at what point those beliefs trump his employment duties?

As I see it, he`s bound by a contract which, if he cannot honour, he should resign from & face the consequences. It is the clubs prerogative to offer lenience as it sees fit.

 Hopefully we can sort something out with a bit of compassion. Unlikely, I know, but maybe Mike doesn't fancy buying another £10m striker.

Ignorance to religion ?

What something that only exists in ones imagination, something where there has been not one shred of proof, has caused more bloodshed that anything else, ever. Yes the faith system, there no ignorance in that is there

I shall live in my ignorance for ever more, quite like it.

Yep, ignorance towards other peoples beliefs. I'm a scientist, I don't believe in any god or higher power, but I respect those that do. Ignorance breeds contempt.

It's not an ignorance to religion, it's more how people have different cultures and beliefs. It doesn't have to be religious.

He could be a vegetarian refusing to wear a KFC logo. It's (allegedly) against his beliefs as a person (likely brought on by religion) and you have to respect that. Not that the club should just bow down to his demands, not at all.

Cisse is ignorant to my belief that the club is more important than him, a sponsor, and his religion or his beliefs. You are also ignorant to this as well.

Weyhey, we can all play the ignorant card, this is fun.

Ignorance or not i'll blissfully live in it, it's unacceptance of them. It's nonsense and i couldn't care less what they think of that. Religion is bollocks.

Scientist eh ? is this you ?

It does. And even if it didn't as long as it makes sense to me that is all that matters. Same for Cisse, as long as he believes what he wants then its ok.

This makes sense, not eating meat, that's real, a real thing. Religion is made up and not real. That the difference i make to it all.

Yeah but you, the club or anyone else here can't force Cisse to chance what he believes in. Just like Cisse cant force you to change your beliefs. What's so hard to understand? You're entitled to your opinion but that doesn't make his a wrong one.

Payday loan companies are real

Religion is also real, funilly enough. God probably isn't, or any form of higher power, but religion is massively real

Stop looking at this as Cisse being some kind of god freak making a stand on behalf of Allah, which is clearly what's happening. If we are to believe that he has no ulterior motive then his stand is purely a personal one, likely down to the morals he has learned from following his faith.

And it's hardly a bad moral objection either.

Totally understand that. I just think Cisse is a hypocrite and this is damaging the club, that isn't ignorance (apparently im not entitled to my opinion according to some on here) and doesn't make me wrong either.

I do suppose being paid £50,000 a week to do your job must enter into somewhere, it's a tricky situation. Despite my obvious sarcasm to all this. I still dont know why he can't wear a plain or charity sponsored shirt.

Will you quit with the ignorance shite man ffs.

As far as i'm concerned he can do what the fuck he do what the fuck he wants outside of work (and lets be clear on this football is just a job and nothing more to the modern footballer) as long as when he's at work he does as he's told and wears the club uniform that he is required to wear just like all of the other players and staff.

Bimpy, you're being a fool. You know you are, too, as you're picking up on the fact that god isn't real in this whole argument . The existence of a higher power cannot be proven, but peoples belief in 'god' or whatever is a very real thing.

TT, you don't even know what ignorance means, ffs.

I don't think you can castigate someone for their beliefs, whether you believe it or not is up to you, as its up to them what they choose to believe. Whether its "true" or not is completely subjective. I don't think Aliens are real but I have friends that do, and that's up to them.

Like pointed out earlier I wouldn't wear a KFC logo on my top, but thats my choice and others might completely disagree. let's face it, Wonga is morally bankrupt, and there were plenty espousing that view when they became sponsor. But now as its "religion" based objection its not ok?

Why ? i get the percentage rates. I know this doesn't seem fashionable but i'm one who believe you are responsible for your own actions. No one is forced to use Wonga, the way is being portrayed is that they force themselves on people. Don't get me wrong i understand the argument, i just think it's a bit of excuse for people who act like idiots at times.

Sorry Jim, i wll admit i'm teasing a bit. I do think belief religion is mental though.

I assume it is Wonga that have rejected the suggestion of him wearing a plain top or one with a charity on. He is a striker/goalscorer and he will be pictured more than most other players, which is how they advertise their company.

I was wondering that, is it Wonga as this stage or the club. I would think the club at this stage as they are the ones who receive the money from Wonga and he's an employee of the club. It would be nice if they let us know what's going on. Been saying that about lots since Ashley's took over though.
