madras
We're all skyboys remember so naturally they will have had higher crowds than us pre sky. I'm sure the stats will bare out this 'fact'. http://www.nufc.com/2011-12html/attendance-all-time.html
Dr. Nguyen Van Falk
Before their 3 seasons above us, we finished above them 7 seasons in a row. So in the last 10 years it's been 7-3.
madras
Since I was born we've finished above them 32 times to their 13.
Dr. Nguyen Van Falk
Oh and in all time history even though we've played 134 games less than them we're only 62 points behind them Edit: With a far superior GD.
Neil
Since I was born we've finished above them 32 times to their 13. More importantly than that though is the gap. Facing Barcelona in the CL and battling for the title vs struggling in a lower league is a slightly larger difference than finishing 1 point above your newly promoted rivals. Or, when your rivals are relegated in 18th, you finishing in a stonking 16th, only surviving on the last day yourselves. It's barely comparable. cp40
Any reference on there to highest average attendances, highest aggregates, how many times we've finished above them (my guess would be 2 to 1 in our favour in my lifetime) , how many seasons we've averaged higher.....also any system that places huddersfield as bigger than spurs is a lie and a pathetic attempt at self justification. i think 2 to 1 is being a bit optimistic for them tbh. well in my lifetime we have finished above them 31 times- them 13 times above us. edit- just seen madras figure- also there a hell of a lot more top 7 finishes in ours- maybe 2 ,7th places for them. WarrenBartonCentrePartin
only way to find out who is bigger is to do a combined XI of all-time greats from the two clubs tbh.

Klaus
really - he's not. cattermole has 40 passes in his locker, tiote plays like bracewell, get, give 5 yarders, get, give 5 yarders, usually sideways or backwards. tiote is one of the most over-rated midfielders in the league, no guile, no heart. Very possibly. He did explain it to me in that sense (in relation to the past and all that) so my laughing is probably uncalled for. Still couldn't believe what I was listening to though. BlueStar
When I see Wireside saying "League titles is the only was of measuring how big a club is" I mentally add "That we can come up with that would put us above the Mags"
