binnsy
Can't believe they haven't sold out especially with Everton taking the whole of the stand behind the goal and the corner( well thats according to the mackem at work) surely 40000 mackems would buy tickets for a quarter final. If they win 2moro we'll amazingly hear some sob stories off them how they can't get a ticket for wembley.
Guest BooBoo
Be surprised if it sells out. That plum Bob Murray built them a stadium that was far too big for their regular fan base. Ironically, it would serve them better if they had a 38,000 stadium that was close to full every week with an atmosphere rather than the endless rows of pink seats on show. Guest BooBoo
One more seat than Newcastle... That was the mentality of Murray. One of the biggest whoppers in Sunderland's history.
Disco
Horshit talking some right hoop on the Legends about Demba. he spins himself inside out to find a down side on us It's definitely a Mackem trait. Horshit saying Ba's playing left back and he's hating it. It's the mackem myth machine man, they do it all time. Say something often enough round those parts and it becomes fact and eventually stuff of legend.
madras
dutch mackems come over for a game, where do they spend their evening after the match, sunderland or Newcastle ? http://www.readytogo.net/smb/showthread.php?t=675309&page=
Guest neesy111
Reduced losses for the mackems, obviously that does include the 44M they got for D. Bent and Henderson, so they are not certainly in great financial health.

WarrenBartonCentrePartin
you all laugh and mock, but what you're forgetting is that if you're going to sack a manager, then replace him with absolute quality like MON, then you're going to have to be prepared to break the bank. Also, you're forgetting last summer's transfer window, which they set alight. Also, if you're as committed to getting the young 'uns in, then you have to be prepared again to operate at a loss, sacrificing matchday revenue in order to indoctrinate the next generation of scruffy little urchins with the mackem philosophy that comes with supporting sunderland. Even though its a loss, what they've achieved has simply shown that they have more class. EDIT: Micky Horseshit, if you read this, and when you try to peddle it on-air tonight as an excuse, please acknowledge your source.
bhoywhonder
It's the mackem myth machine man, they do it all time. Say something often enough round those parts and it becomes fact and eventually stuff of legend. All the F*cking time. Its not just about the team, its any swivel-eyed conspiracy theory they pluck out of thin air. A favourite is to blame the city's midden-like conditions on perceived Tyneside-bias by some shadowy controlling group. Take this beauty: "Now I'm sure that our stadium of light was banned for 10 years From staging live stadium gigs in order for the telewest arena In skunkland to be built . Is that right ??" http://www.readytogo.net/smb/showthread.php?t=686264#ixzz1qJHU4Bhd By page two they're all utterly convinced it's true despite no evidence whatsoever (and conveniently ignoring the fact the Arena was built two years before). jdckelly
honestly don't know, I like the look of Fergie but its all potential atm while McClean could be said to be more ready now but is he just a 1 trick pony who could be found out
Guest neesy111
Who would people have out of Shane Ferguson and James McClean , totally unbiased but based on potential and not what you rather have now? Now McClean, but to make final judgement then need to see more of Fergie to see if he develops or not.
Fenham Mag
Fergie to me, is a bit like Jonas with his workrate and he is quite skillful. I wouldn't mind them moulding him in to a Jonas clone.

mrmojorisin75
By page two they're all utterly convinced it's true despite no evidence whatsoever (and conveniently ignoring the fact the Arena was built two years before). there's something to this mindset in them like, i've recently come across the "your club was born in 1992" concrete argument about crowds (every mag says you've always had big crowds) and lest we forget the class argument, as far as i can tell the classy thing is only in existence 'cause they've deemed it so
