totally pointless, whereas, if you do it the fair way, bruce's first 14 games v mons first 14 games:

Bruce W2 D5 L7

O'Neill W8 D2 L4

:anguish:

None of them seem to have mentioned the fact that MON plays the same XI week in, week out - as he doesn't believe in squads -  till they're so knackered, the results go totally to shit.

Didn't win in last 9 games of the season.

Even Piers Morgan is Mack-Tracking now....

Piers Morgan ‏@piersmorgan

Wimbledon was a borough in the county of Surrey until it was absorbed into the Greater London Borough of Merton in 1965....

Piers Morgan ‏@piersmorgan

..So, technically, @Georgia_Ford was right to ask the question because the Wimbledon Championships weren't held in London until after 1965.

Read wiki's entry on Sunderland's 05/06 season after the previous few posts and came across this excellent bit.

Alternate Reality

If there had been more money to spend, if Mick had been more wise in the transfer market and if Sunderland had not been beset by injuries, this squad, which would have been far more capable of avoiding relegation, would have been available for Sunderland:

Also their season summary is one big blur of (classy) text.

Never known a forum where 'f*** off' is pretty much par for the course more than RTG.

Wolves were in very good shape financially before they went down so I doubt there is need for a fire sale. Remember reading they'd already sold out that new stand they'd built too.

£15m though, madness. Saying that he is pretty much a guarantee for 12-13 goals next year.

http://www.casinos-online.co.uk/news/20120709/worldlink-reveals-second-premier-league-partner/

Premier League football club Newcastle United FC ( Newcastle ) has become the second to sign heads of terms with WorldLink (see previous report), following in Sunderland AFC's footsteps.

If anyone's going to pay that amount for Steven Fletcher it'll be Artie Ziff.

He'll probably negotiate them down to £14m and think he's got a great bargain, a bit like when Alan Partridge gets a grand off his £325,000 house.

Yes he'd come here of all places. Give over.

Why Not?

Near his home

Would annoy some of the fans that criticised him for leaving

On paper it's a good move for his career

More Game time

Would be the focal point of our attack

More chances to score

More chance of being called up to his international side (in theory)

Artie Ziff really is going to cripple them financially . If they pay more money for Fletcher than we did for Cisse :yao:

With all that money Wolves will be able to fix the restricted view in the new stand

if wolves follow on from last season they should keep the restricted view seats and charge extra to sit there.
