If anyone's going to pay that amount for Steven Fletcher it'll be Artie Ziff.

He'll probably negotiate them down to £14m and think he's got a great bargain, a bit like when Alan Partridge gets a grand off his £325,000 house.

Yes he'd come here of all places. Give over.

Why Not?

Near his home

Would annoy some of the fans that criticised him for leaving

On paper it's a good move for his career

More Game time

Would be the focal point of our attack

More chances to score

More chance of being called up to his international side (in theory)

Artie Ziff really is going to cripple them financially . If they pay more money for Fletcher than we did for Cisse :yao:

With all that money Wolves will be able to fix the restricted view in the new stand

if wolves follow on from last season they should keep the restricted view seats and charge extra to sit there.

People seem to have overlooked our friend Sir Ricky's contribution to the Carroll debate:

'It would be perfect for us to indulge the product of the Mag's mouldy loins? To allow him to use his gums of piss to sup upon mother SAFC?

Would you feed your child dog food?

Like a silver fox in the moonlight, SAFC is symbolic.

The day we sully our tampestry with the grubby procut spewed from the bowels of Mag is the day the war is lost'

And what the fuck is 'tampestry' - somewhere between tampon and ancestry, I assume, which sums up that club rather nicely.

Tampestry is a 15th century depiction of early mackemdom made from tampons, similar to the more famous Bayeux Tapestry which is housed in the Musée de la Tapisserie de Bayeux.  However the sunderland version is housed in a display cabinet in Joplings.

Whereas the Bayeaux Tapestry depicts Harold at the Battle of Hastings being hit in the eye, the Trampestry illustrates Ginola at the Battle of Roker being hit by a pie.

Contrary to popular belief, it is not housed at Joplins - that is a replica - but is secured in a vault in the Musée de la Pommes Frites et Fromage.

It remains a prized artifact, treasured by the Anglo-Saxtons.

it's not even a tapestry, it's an embroidery.
