Wullie
Ugh. Surely he's not going to lower himself. I'd be more than happy to see him here for squad depth, unfortunately we don't bother with that.
WarrenBartonCentrePartin
would be extremely surprised if we don't get a phone call from his agent. Whether we bother to listen to him is a different story entirely.

Guest Mackem Logic
Has that interview made it onto RTG? Oh yes. http://www.readytogo.net/smb/showthread.php?t=754260 And here's one reply from the thread about todays bid for him... http://www.readytogo.net/smb/showpost.php?p=14246003&postcount=20 "I'll give him a chance if we do sign him, but you just know that in a year and a half's time he's going to be the latest deadwood that we're struggling to shift. He's a twat as well."
ScottishMagpie
As much as it pains me to say it I'd be more confident putting money on them staying up than us.

I like how they pick two glamour names, and then someone they reckon the home side might beat.

David Icke - Son of God
FWIW, I'd have Graham here as a Best/Lovenkrands squad player replacement - but would he come here for that? No. We were in contact with him in the summer and he said he'd only move for first team football.

No. We were in contact with him in the summer and he said he'd only move for first team football. Then surely the Sunderland bid is also doomed to fail then, given Marty's track record of only playing one up front down there. Even with Wickham seemingly improving, he still seems reluctant to play 2 up top, so could see Graham on their bench too. Norwich probably a better destination for him then, unless his heart is set on a return to NE, in which case he might accept a lesser role at either club?
