I'm not counting places like Forest Hall, because you should expect them posh twats to look down on everyone.

:snod:

not the first person to get it mixed up with Darras hall tbh.

Plenty of people seem to. Or maybe they just think there's something special about the filler between beautiful Benton and captivating Killingworth.

The lads from Waaaaaallsend are all hard as f*** man, and no more abooot footbaaaaalll.

Even the other bits of Newcastle are not fit to lick their arses.

I don't think it's a Newcastle fans superiority complex, I think it is just certain people from certain bits of Newcastle. I am willing to admit Newcastle has a canny city centre, and some people from there are alright, and that 95% of mags from this side of the water have been alright (least no worse than some of the bellends that follow my team), but the proper superiority complex mob that I have come into contact with have all been from Byker, Walker, Wallsend area (Battle Hill seems to be Knobhead central going off my encounters- not that I've ever been there).

I'm not counting places like Forest Hall, because you should expect them posh t***s to look down on everyone.

Was waiting for the bus and a lad was talking to his missus about sunderland and he said he wasn't going to renew his ST as he can get free tickets for most games any case.

This explains the Thatcher stuff.

Yep. Everyone in NE12 finds it distasteful to celebrate death. Must be something in the water.

Do they get their tickets for the derby at SJP for free, like they do at the stadium of spam, or do they have to pay for away games ?

They can scream and shout all they like, deep down they know as well as us that we are the classier and better supported club.

Would normally assume that's a joke, but they way they are there, I'm not sure.

There relative success over the past 20 years or so gives them a superiority complex.

That being said, it would not be hard to change that with a few wins over them and consistently bettering them in the league etc.

Where the fuck does this class thing even come from  Who thinks they're classy? I've never heard it from anyone but themselves?

They have no other straws to grasp. Shit team, terrible support, IRA sympathising player, fascist manager, lengthy history of racism, lots of lows, no real highs. When in doubt try and claim superiority in something that can never be proven.

What's this about Forest Hall like? I've lived in most of the 268/266s: Killingworth, Palmersville, West Moor, Longbenton and I've also lived in Heaton, Gosforth and the centre of town and Forest Hall is comfortably the roughest place I've ever lived. Posh ffs.

Sunderland issue a public apology after their supporters disrupt a minute's silence for the late Welsh legend John Charles. A spokesman for their fans later defends their actions by explaining that they thought it was for Ray Charles.

 What the fuck? So that would be OK?

"-Who's it for?"

"-John Charles."

"-Ray Charles? Fuck that. MOOOOOOOOOO!"

They probably thought it was Ray Charles, who they then in turn thought was actually Craig Charles.
