TenkoDaLuz
I used to stay in a house in Algarve that belongs to a neighbour of mine. That house is in the middle of Albufeira, near all the discos and nightlife. My old man, used to get up early, and his first task in the morning was to get rid of the drunk british youngsters sleeping in the grass in the front yard, in a very calm and gentle fashion, like it was a normal morning routine... "OK... Go home now, you're too drunk, you shouldn't be doing this, your parents must be worried". (In portuguese of course). The british replied something in english, of course my father would not understand shit, but still he answered "I know, I know.." while showing them the way out. Hahahaah, ahhhh good old times. :mike:

newsted
WTF? I'm away for a day and this happens? Benficans seem a bit fun. The only word I know in Portuguese is the most popular swearword and the only phrase I know is telling them where to put it. Oh, hang on, "obrigado" is Portuguese as well as Japanese isn't it? Two words, then. Fucking multilingual, me, like. Hic.

newsted
Obrigado. Whatever that means. Fwiw all the Portugeezers/Brazilians I've ever worked with haven't been bothered whether they were getting rice or chips, as long as they were getting something. They weren't getting it off me though, just to be perfectly clear. Oh, no.
