aussiemag
With the undoubted success of our beloved club this season, it is inevitable that clubs financially wealthier than our own are going to be interested in aquiring the services of our best players. Just wondering how much people feel our individual first team players are worth. ie. how much would we sell them for. All of our first team players apart from Ba are on long contracts, so it is going to cost them a fortune. Every player at our club has a price, however i have faith in those running us that if a player is sold we can replace them with a player of equal or better quality. Heres what i feel each senior player in our team is worth. In bold are the players i feel are most at risk. Tim Krul .. 18 million pounds Danny Simpson .. 3 million pounds Mike Williamson .. 3 million pounds Frabicio Coloccini .. 10 million pounds Steven Taylor.. 8 million pounds Davide Santon .. 6 million pounds Ryan Taylor .. 3 million pounds James Perch .. 3 million pounds Jonas Gutierrez. .. 8 million pounds Danny Guthrie .. Free Gabriel Obertan .. 3 million pounds Yohan Cabaye .. 20 million pounds Cheik Tiote .. 25 million pounds Hatem Ben Arfa .. 20 million pounds Papiss Cisse .. 30 million pounds Demba Ba .. 7 million pounds release clause Shola Ameobi .. 1 million pounds Leon Best .. 3.5 million pounds
mickthemagpie
I wouldn't sell Ben Arfa for £20 million for starters!
Karjala
Agree with most of it, though wouldnt think we'd get much more than £6m for Jonas, £10m for Cabaye and £15m for Tiote.

Probably agree with youw ith regards to Jonas .. however Cabaye and Tiote are key players on long contracts. Looking at what players of similar ability are touted about for i think they ar worth around 20 mill each.

mofo
I think Danny Simpson would sell for more, being English & all that jazz.... 5 million
LucaAltieri
Tim Krul .. 25 million pounds Danny Simpson .. 1.5 million pounds Mike Williamson .. 1.5 million pounds Frabicio Coloccini .. 14 million pounds Steven Taylor.. 8 million pounds Davide Santon .. 6 million pounds Ryan Taylor .. 5 million pounds James Perch .. 1.5 million pounds Jonas Gutierrez. .. 6 million pounds Danny Guthrie .. 3 million pounds Gabriel Obertan .. 2 million pounds Yohan Cabaye .. 10 million pounds Cheik Tiote .. 12 million pounds Hatem Ben Arfa .. 20 million pounds Papiss Cisse .. 20 million pounds Demba Ba .. 7 million pounds release clause Shola Ameobi .. never leaving. Give up. Leon Best .. 3.5 million pounds Fixed. Note this is what I think they'd go for, not what I'd personally want before selling them. Our most valuable asset is easily Tim Krul closely followed by Cisse and Ben Arfa. This is all guess work, really, as a lot will also depend on whether or not the player in question wants to leave. Also depends on when the bid comes in and what cover we have.
Unbelievable
30 year old Colo 14 million? Tiote only 12 million? Guthrie with 2 months on his contract 3 million? Ryan Taylor 5 million and Danny Simpson 1.5 million? WTF?
Guest neesy111
Ryan Taylor 5M.

Ryan Taylor 5 million and Danny Simpson 1.5 million? WTF? I thought Guthrie's contract had been sorted? If not then that one might need revising down. Stand by the rest. Colo is our captain, proven quality, cost us a bomb, I wouldn't see him going for any less. Tiote is volatile and somewhat limited. Taylor is a better footballer and more versatile than Simpson. LucaAltieri
Ryan Taylor 5M. Utility player, can deliver the ball, has played some excellent games this season scoring from left back. English premium. He could fetch 5m.

I haven't heard anything about a Guthrie contract extension, so I think that valuation is definitely wrong. We probably wouldn't sell Colo for anything under 10 million, as he is that important to us, but he is nowhere near that valuation from an outsiders' perspective (i.e. other clubs). Tiote is very highly rated and a rare commodity even at the bigger clubs. He's also got 5 years left on his contract. I wouldn't sell for anything under 20 million, and I don't think the club will. Simpson is fairly young, English and quite highly rated outside of the club. I think we will cash in in the summer what with his contract expiring, but not for less than 4-5 million. Ryan Taylor is typical backup and I'm one of the few people who rate him on here. However, there's no way he's worth more than 2-3 million, absolutely no way. Guest je85
Guessing player valuations is always way out. Carroll wasn't worth £35m but if someone pays it, he's worth it.
juniatmoko
leon best is a striker... selling him 3.5 mill is too cheap for premier league average striker... at least he worth 5 mill to sell into Scottish league or championship league. Raylor at least worth 4 mill above becoz we sell nolan for 4 mill.
