Mole_Toonfan
Both have to go away to Sevilla i see, who ever gets the better against them will likely win the league.
Fugazi
Real have the better head-to-head record so can Barca can really only afford to lose 1 game.
The College Dropout
Madrid look tired. Modric and Kroos deteriorated significantly in the second half. Due to a lack of match fitness and too many matches. Kroos has played 48 games this season. 63 last season. Good chance they sack off La Liga or at least use it to give the new Brazilian some starts in midfield. Experiment with the front 3. He's stuck rigidly to his tactics which seems silly. Ancelotti is normally flexible.
Mole_Toonfan
Not surprising really considering they never rotate their team and most of the players have to work extra hard to cover for Bale and Ronaldo strolling around. Ancelotti is normally flexible. Against big teams yes, but as it attains to an entire season this isn't really new, he's never really been one for rotation and more often than not his teams do end up getting fatigued during the home stretch. For Chelsea at least he switched systems in league campaigns. He started off in a diamond. Drogba went to the AFCON then they went 4-3-2-1. Then he seemed to change it frequently back and forth and introduced a plain 4-3-3 & 4-2-3-1. Again with Chelsea they beat Man Utd. at Old Trafford in the last few weeks of the season and won the last match by at least 5 goals. I'm not sure any of your points are valid. Even last season I believe Madrid simply lost focus after qualifying for the CL Final rather than being tired or losing steam. He's also managed sides to 4 CL finals. Including a pretty old one at that. I think he feels forced to start the same way due to his trio.
Mole_Toonfan
Tbf at Milan at least they didn't do very well in the league so it allowed them to be fresh for the CL. I think in an ideal world he would like to play Ronaldo and Benzema upfront with a fluid 4 of Modric, Kroos, Isco and James behind them but that doesn't seem possible for a number of reasons. He does have his hands tied a little bit by how the team has been built and how Bale must start for political reasons but he doesn't help himself but playing the same eleven almost all the time and that isn't something new. I feel like Bale is the Ancelotti type of player, strong, good finisher and perfect for his counter-attacking style. I do think Isco doesn't offer as much in the final third as James and that might be hurting them as well as you pointed out the fact they seem very fatigued. Mole_Toonfan
Not sure i agree that he's an Ancelotti type tbh. Sure Seedorf and Kaka (to use some examples) were strong and quick but they were also extremely intelligent, could play in between the lines, excellent technically and so on. I think Isco and James resemble them more than Bale does, although i do agree Isco doesn't provide as much offensively but i don't believe he gets chosen in the team for that. I think he's there because of his dribbling ability in tight spaces, ability to penetrate and all round skill and intelligence.

Last season he trusted the back-up fullbacks more. In fact he changed from the start of the season with Di Maria playing central in a midfield 3. And again at Chelsea - that team always changed. He even dropped Didier for that Man Utd game. Ancelotti's greatest ability in management is getting all his best players into a system that works well enough for a star man or two to shine and win games. Bale needs to warm that bench when James is back. But he won't. Isco will drop out.
Village Idiot
What does the fixture list look like for the top 2 from now on? Who has the advantage from the standpoint of easier fixtures, VI? We have pretty much the same fixtures except that we have yet to play Atlético, and that Espanyol will give quite a bit extra against us. If we win one of the two and match Madrid's results elsewhere, we win this thing.

I seriously can't decide which one is worse. Dani is such a hipster that it works for him, while Adriano looks absolutely terrible, some sort of Latin Lover Neymar is by far the worse, fuck is that? Also Messi shoes get little coverage, doubt the council would approve of that
