Guest Roger Kint
Any news yet? Not even from the FA/PL or whoever decides the ban. Doubt we will hear anything definate for Mass for 24 hours or so if theres any swelling.
Dave
Disappointed in Keys' comments, I'm normally a fan. Everything about the incident sickens me. He making the point to be obtuse. He wants people to call his show and tell him how wrong he is. That's the whole basis of Talksport, whether it's football, politics or current affairs. Skirge
Wiley on SSN ref's view was blocked didn't see it, linesman was in other half of pitch 30 yards away view was blocked by Haïdara as tackle was made. All officials will be asked if they seen it if they say no, Halsey will be shown video asked what he would have done if he says red card then its a 3 game ban but the FA can add more games due to seriousness of it. He also said as the ball went up the line it might have appeared as he won the ball but also as the little cunt up ran off and then handballed it they would take that as it was not serious contact as they would expect the offending player to react to hurting an opponent. Guest Roger Kint
'Halsey is being wrongly vilified today while the City ref gets away with a worse mistake and nothing is said' That Adrian urham prick wouldnt stoop as low as Keys
Wilson
they would expect the offending player to react to hurting an opponent. This is what pisses me off about the little b******. Intentional or not, after it's happened he knows what he's done yet completely ignores it. Hope the little c***s career fades into nothing. Another thing, sick of hearing these so-called 'expert' opinions on it, fuck off.

Wilson
If any match officials seen it and didn't deem it even a booking, they want sacked. Luckily, the sackless c***s will have seen the replay, and not one of them will own up to seeing the actual 'challenge'. So fucking annoyed at this. Rebellious
If any match officials seen it and didn't deem it even a booking, they want sacked. Or there legs broken, can`t see them going to the police if they deem not even worthy of a foul.
Dan Gleebals
The most important thing in all of this is that Massadio make a speedy and full recovery. He looks a cracking prospect, lets hope that has not been curtailed in anyway. Disgraceful challenge and should be appropriately punished.
Wullie
Is there precedent for making a police complaint? I remember Dyer and Bowyer were arrested after a complaint made by a member of the public...

Intentional or not, after it's happened he knows what he's done yet completely ignores it. Hope the little c***s career fades into nothing. Another thing, sick of hearing these so-called 'expert' opinions on it, fuck off. This. He was fully aware of how badly he caught him. If he was sorry at all he would have been straight over apologising no standing around like a glakey cunt. McCarthy as well trying to tell the ref Massido was acting. The fact that the ref didn't see it is secondary to me, the most important thing is that the offending player is banned for a very long time - I'd like to see him banned for as long as Haidara is out. Regardless if 'he's not that sort of lad' he has endangered a fellow professionals livelihood and whether that was through malice or accident he should be banned for a very long time. Kasper
Got a feeling that Halsey will say he saw it and the little w***** will get away with it, sort of disgraceful thing that prick would do i think the opposite, even if he did see it he'll say he didn't (using the tele footage that there was a player in the way) to get him off the hook. Martinez claims he did see it and told him so, by saying that after the game it puts Halsey in a dodgy position if he lies. Obviously assuming Martinez isnt lying that is. And Pardew said Halsey told him he missed it...? No he didnt. "He (Halsey) said 'If I've missed it I apologise' - that was at half-time. On the post match video interview he said Halsey told him he didnt see it.

Guest BrightonMag
So, Martinez, if it wasn't malicious, how come he didn't immediately flag the ref and the physios and try and get help for the guy. That's what any decent human being would have done and I've seen it happen plenty of times before. It's inconceivable he doesn't immediately know how bad the challenge was. This is the most telling thing for me, and I've read the Wigan forums about it being reckless, follow through, mistimed etc. By the way, can we have a match thread for every Wigan game from now until their relegation so we can get fully behind the opposition. Skirge
FA need to give more powers to officials during game play. A player is down in obvious pain receiving treatment, play has stopped its obvious the injury happened during a tackle, the 4th official should be allowed to view a replay and inform the ref of what happened. Red card can be shown right decision made at the right time, lessons anger when the correct actions are taken. As for Wigan and Martinez, it was obvious by HT what had happened, had he been anywhere near a decent human being he would have not sent that little cretin back onto the pitch. Has that little cretin been "not that kind of lad" he would have been in no state to carry on after seeing what he had done to a fellow professional footballer. He seemed in a bit of a state when he was subbed but I honestly believe that was 100% self pity and not concern over what he had done.
