All i want is a strong to end to the season to go into next year with some momentum as we can't really achieve anything significant this season.

So i think 10th is a decent target, anything on top of it would be a massive bonus.

Aye, I've already started to dream about what we can do next season with this squad and one or two additions. Shame this season essentially feels like a write off.

10th would be a good aim now, we are only 3 pts off it.

A win now on Saturday and we will push for 7th. A loss and I think 11-14th will be realistic.

I think 7th has gone tbh, Liverpool sitting 9 pts above is just too much imo. 8th is reachable if we have a very good run but it'll be tough with Swansea and West Brom 7 pts better off, with both to play though you never know.

Not if we beat them. It's only two wins to make up. Don't know their fixture list though.

I did consider that but as much as it pains me to say, they are getting results and i just can't see them dropping enough for us to catch them.

Before we won those two games our form in all comps was:

DDLLDLLWLLLWLLLLDL

As if half of these predictions are going to come true man!

This is a ridiculous stance to take - what does the form pre-Xmas have to do with the form post-Jan? We're not even likely to play the same starting XI as any of those earlier games.

Hope springs eternal....I'll be more than happy finishing clear of the drop zone. I'm not tempting fate. Done that too often already

I reckon 50 should be a target.

7 wins, 2 draws and 4 defeats from those games should be a realistic, ambitious but not over achievable aim.

Probably beat: Southampton, Wigan, Sunderland, West Ham, QPR - approx total 13

Possibly beat : Swansea, Stoke, Fulham - approx total 4

Probably lose: Spurs, Man C, Liverpool, Arsenal - approx total 2

21 + current points 25 = 44.

Nee idea TBH.

This looks fairly reasonable to me, most likely a few surprise loss'/wins but I reckon our points total will be there or thereabouts.

Damn straight. We barely manage to beat Villa, and while we looked fantastic, Chelsea are struggling to pull up trees at the moment, recently drawing with Reading and losing at home to QPR.

We look like we have some confidence back, which is terrific, but lets not go overboard eh.

Aye, a great performance on Saturday and a feeling not unlike the Boro match during the relegation season, however I remembered and quoted a relevant line from Winston Wolf in "Pulp Fiction" on more than one occasion on Saturday evening.

40/1 on skybet to us finish Top 6. I've gambled...

They should be wearing masks. I'd want 400 at least.

We must of had our odds slashed after the Chelski game 'cos sunlan' are still 100/1 despite being above us/2pts ahead. #magmedia :iamatwat:
